What do you think about selling artworks online ? Is it worth it ?Have you ever done anything similar.

It requires paypal, and btw forgive my ignorance but creating a paypal or "maintaining the account " requires money am I right?

I don't think PayPal requires you put anything in to it, if it's linked to your bank card/account, though they probably take a small percentage of the money that people pay to you. Though, I couldn't say for certain, having never owned an account.

I'm certain that if your art is good enough you could sell it online, with the potential to make, what they call, a living. You could sell it on eBay, or DeviantArt. Do commissions, and whatnot.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

Unless you use Paypal credit, you don't have to pay to use Paypal :p

Paypal is free. If you sell an item through paypal, they take a 3% commission of what you make though. I use paypal daily for buying and selling.

If you are on the buyer side, they have phenomenal customer service and very, very rarely do you ever get shafted. The seller side can get "iffy." I have had some issues selling, however, it was because the buyer was a scammer. It happens rarely, but it did happen to me.

There might be places in your community who would be willing to sell your art.
