Even under 100% load. Temp goes up to 58-60 C GPU : Amd 5470 mobile. Odd I have GPU-z and Everest ultimate edition. Both shows the same. Suggestion? |

Have you tried to clean the dust off it? Also make sure no wires are being caught in it. There might also be an issue providing adequate power. Your voltages should be around 0.7V 12V 5V 3.3V Unless you are over clocking of course. Edited by Pelador, Feb 25 2016, 08:04 PM.

58-60C is well within normal operating temperatures. Your fan is fine. The fan only spins as much as it needs to to maintain a temperature target. If you want to test whether it's working, set it manually, create your own fan curve, (use MSI Afterburner for both) or intentionally starve it for airflow. Aside from the motherboard BIOS, there's no native software for doing so. I'd recommend HWmonitor or MSI Afterburner. |

I installed Afterburner set the fan to 100% temp dropped to 47 C ... I switched back to auto. It is odd however because normally i used gpu z to log to file and i played a "demanding" game ac brotherhood and the main laptop fan spinned like a crazy maniac, while the gpu fan remained 30% even though the load was 100% almost all the way i played. I played however only 30 minutes |
