A couple of frames dropped > buying a new 3DS. I only played for about 5-10 minutes and I've got to say, the music instantly drew me in. So far so good! I'll get a good amount of play later tonight. Anyone else enjoying it? |

X and Y used to struggle at times with horde encounters. The one I specifically remember is that any time a Yanma horde came on the screen the picture stuttered. As long as it's not a major issue I'll be fine without buying a new console. |

Grass starter's final evo is grasa ghost which is so f*** cool omg The dumb cat is fire/dark as a few of us mentioned which is also cool but it's a shame it has literally the s***test design ever |

The grass starter is growing on me. I was leaning towards that anyway, but it was more of a 'best of a bad bunch' thing, but I'm actually starting to quite like it. It's typing is really cool. |

I swear, ever since the 4th, arguably 3rd generation Game Freak seems to have gone out of their way to make the Grass Starters better, whether in appearance or typing. Bulbasaur and its evolutions were heavily outclassed by its respective starters, whether stats or just popularity. The less said about Chikoria the better. Treeko and its evolution are quite popular, though doesn't necessarily stand on the same level of stats as Blaziken and Swampert. Torterra is an all around solid grass type and imo, the best of the starter Pokemon of Sinnon in terms of design. Serprior is arguably the most popular design wise of Unova, definitely more than the wrestling pig for sure, though unfortunately it kind of sucks balls stats wise. I can't say much on Chestnaught. And now we have Rowlet, who not only has a decent typing to help counteract some of grass weaknesses like bug. But if Rowlet does become a Grass/Ghost, that help nuetralize both grass weakness to Bug and Poison. That's nice, since Flying and Ghost kind of help neutralize a lot of Grass' common weaknesses like Bug, Poison and Flying, very common types usually at that. Plus it seems pretty popular. |

This is probably my favourite starter set since gen 4. I don't really like any of Gen 5's. In Gen 6, I found Greninja and Chesnaught to be just okay, but Delphox was my absolutely least favourite starter so far. |

Poppmaid Kreygasm Water Fairy is such a good type combo omggg also curious on how Alola Guardian works: if it's just a Super Fang that does 75% of total health or if it does 75% of all times... could be broken with Hazards if so =] |

That would be broken without hazards. Can you imagine it doing 75% damage all the time? You would literally be two shotting any opponent. Imagine being on the opposite end. If your slower, you better hope you can one shot whatever is using it. If your lucky and faster you can at least get two shots off hopefully and finish things off. I'm sure it's the equivalent of Super Fang, doing 75% total health. And already strong move, but at least its not broken. The only thing that would be more broken than 75% all the time is "Perfect Accurate Guillotine" or something. |

Pokemon Sun and Moon are bound to be popular hits as new titles in the Pokemon franchise, but a recent tweet from Nintendo has helped to illustrate just how big these two titles are. According to the tweet, Pokemon Sun and Moon are not only the most downloaded demo title in Nintendo history, but now the most pre-sold game in Nintendo history as well. |

@Emiya, serperior is the best unova starter. And one of the best starters period. Your just not using him right. He's also one of my fav starters as well. |

Unfortunately, Serperior really is a crappy Pokemon all together. I like the guy, it was my choice of a starter in terms of design, but the only thing that ever helped Serperior go past his lower tier stat was his Hidden Ability "Contrary" Without it, he is by far one of the worst Grass Starters, and one of the worst starters overall, only above the likes of Meganium. What's worst is that, until I think X an Y, you couldn't get Contrary Serperior in something like the US at the time. It's a single point that really helps Serperior as one of the best grass types, but without it, it is a terrible Pokemon. |

But the thing is it DOES have access to that ability now, so the rest of your points don't make any sense. There's a reason why it's now in the OU tier in competitive play and the other grass starters aren't. Serperior is better than them. One move or ability can make mediocre stats a lot better. I mean lookit talonflame??? s***ty a*** typing and s*** stats with the exception of speed, but its ability is what makes it good. |
