Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition” has been rated R for “sequences of violence.” The distributor is “Warner Home Entertainment”, so it sounds like we’re getting an extended director’s cut Blu-ray from Zack Snyder!

There’s even a note that reads “EDITED VERSION. CONTENT IS DIFFERENT FROM PG-13 VERSION, B

Guess Superman will pop a blood vessel.

Batman: "Tell me, do you bleed?"
Superman: "Hey, Bruce..."
Batman: "Wha-How did you...?!"
Superman: "This movie has been rated R."
Batman: "Oh s***..."
Superman: *proceeds to wreck Batman*

The End.

I have a feeling it's mostly due to their fight...it's probably a bloody one, that or Batman uses a lot of bad language along with the crazy violence.

I know this guy, so I know he wouldn't be talking about this unless it was true...besides he let me read where all of this is coming from and it seems pretty legit. I know the video is long, but he does go over a lot of what's setting up the movie.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I can see a lot of civilians dying being the reason for it.

Just in case people have been avoiding trailers/details

Aside from that maybe he gives Batman a serious beating, I'm sure someone has pictures from whatever comic where one happens.

I honestly can't see it being worthy of an R though, sounds silly. Like, is it going to be as brutal as Watchmen? Doubtful...

Only the Director's cut will be R. The theatrical cut is PG-13.
I love building PCs. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask. I can help you with almost any kind of PC you'd want to build.

To be fair a lot of superhero movies ought to be higher than PG-13 anyway but they're dumbed down to cater to a larger audience and get more money.

Like where is all the mad s*** that happens to Wolverine in X-Men movies? He only gets stabbed or some surface damage at best, never being rendered down to just the adamantium skeleton.

So I like that it's not going to completely be a magical kids adventure but I hope the directors cut isn't overly violent just for the sake of violence.

It's kinda lame how you can't just go see directors cuts like this at the cinema anyway...

Novacane for the pain

The third Hobbit movie's DVD release got an R as well and that wasn't much better than the theatrical release. So I wouldn't be putting too much faith in there being extreme action or anything.

Doomsday will probably kill a few people accidentally, he isn't usually the kinda guy that goes from person to person and squashes each one of them. The fight between Supes and Bats won't kill anyone, for sure, and I can see the Parademons making the most damage. We already see them picking up people, probably bringing them through portals to Apokolips.

Apparently, from what I've heard, Darkseid will be the main villain in the Justice League live-action movie that will come out next year. This means the DCEU is keeping some of their other major villains to use later. That's good. I wanna see Brainiac kicking Superman's a***.

And a lot of blood would be appreciated, please.

The f***?

Well, I guess LOTR was pretty violent but fantasy violence. CG orcs having their heads cut off is hardly much.

If an R release is at all indicative of how dark these movies will be I wonder if we'll ever see a flashback of Joker killing Jason Todd...
Can see a Red Hood movie being done in future.

Maybe some of the R stuff will be like people impaled by rubble and whatnot during the Clark/Zod fight.
I guess Batman might end up basically wading through a ton of bodies to find that girl, which will be why he hates Superman so much.
One girl would be enough collateral damage for PG-13.
