Hey Guys,

I have 2 questions..

1) Can someone please explain the differences in these 2 episodes? The youtube link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQx4K5AzBJM) takes you to Vegeta vs Android 19. At 2:20, Vegeta has theme music that starts playing when he begins talking about his transformation to SSJ. BUUUUUT on funimation's website, the SAME episode, the theme music isn't there. WHY!?

And 2..

Does the version with Vegeta's theme music come on dvd/blu-ray?

Thanks!

Sorry, I'm a Manga purist, not a dubtard. I can probably speak for most of this forum as well.

I'm sure there is somebody who knows the answer. I read the manga too, hence, why im not sure about the dub verisons. But I want them in my movie collection.

Without seeing the version on Funimation's website, it's kind of hard to say for sure what the reason is. My best guess is Funi uses the Japanese music on their website, or you were watching Dragon Ball Z Kai.

For your second question, I believe the remastered boxsets (fan dubbed "the orange bricks") contain both he Funimation and Japanese music, same with the Blu Ray set.

You really can't. The fanbase is so vast and have been introduced to the series in a variety of ways across multiple mediums and languages... how could you possibly assume to speak for a majority. Even going so far as to use a derogatory term for people who enjoy the dub...

Ever since the p123 revolution, both the anime AND the english dub have been exposed for how terrible they are in comparison to the Manga.

Well, firstly, I wouldn't call anything p123 did "revolutionary"... though I did enjoy discussing the series with him.

Secondly, just because they're generally considered inferior in comparison, that doesn't mean whatever people were first exposed to and became attached to wouldn't still hold a special place in their heart.

People like what they like and you should never assume you speak for the majority.
