![]() Now, this show is awesome. It's by far the greatest depiction/adaptation of the Spider-Man mythos, changing a lot of stuff from the comics and improving a few. BUT, as fantastic as it was, there's no such thing as a perfect show, so here we are to talk about what Spectacular Spider-Man did WRONG, so basically, let's list your least favourite things about the show. I'll be adding a few as people post more and more. |
Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |

This, I get depressed sometimes knowing that it won't be continued. I guess the main problem is that it spoiled me in terms of things spider-man related Edited by Dbzk1999, Feb 12 2016, 11:09 AM.

So one's gonna mention what they did to Kraven?![]() Or how they underplayed Vulture? ![]() Or how they made Spidey a hero that gets tossed around by practically everyone? I like this Spidey, but sometimes he's nothing but of a punching bag when it comes to battling supervillains. |

Kraven being turned to a dumb muscle pussy cat was really dumb, I'll agree. Vulture was underused, but he did well enough in his appearances. I don't think Spidey looked particularly bad when fighting them unless it was against someone really powerful. You'll notice that against Electro, Mysterio, and Colonel Jupiter he looks considerably better. |

I don't mean that Spidey was trash at fighting, I mean that he got tossed by getting grabbed by the leg WAY too much. |

Censorship. Even if it was rather light on this show(actual punches instead of wrestling moves), they still had to keep the punching down a little bit |

I feel like this show had even less punches than TAS. But anyway, any other flaws you can see or have problems with? |

The fact that it had more than three punches makes it more than TAS. TAS was creative with the ways they got around it(lots of shoulder barges, kicks, and throws), but no, TAS did not have as many punches even with many more episodes. As for other flaws, I think that the jerking around with Liz and Gwen was kind of pointless. It would have been better to just develop the Gwen romance rather than focus on the love triangle aspect of it. Oh, and also, Mysterio was under used, which is a shame because he was quite awesome in it |

The fact that it had a love triangle at all is bad enough. Do people even like love triangles? They're so boring and unoriginal... |
