What is she? Protagonist? Antagonist? Antihero? Antivillain? Seems confusing to me. And never mind Nyu. |

Villain Protagonist and Anti-Hero. In the manga itself, she slowly starts to become a lighter version of a Villain Protagonist when she's not being a complete b*** taking her frustration out on everyone innocent and actually showing some real remorse and lighter moments. It also depends on that relationship to other characters. Against someone like Director Kakuzawa who is treated in a more "wholesome villainous light" she may look more like an Anti-Hero. Against someone like Nana who is treated in a more "whole heroic light" she may come off as a more Anti-Villain. As a main character she's definitely treated as as a villain protagonist. But it all depends really on how you view her as character. As far as the manga goes, I think it can be well said that she starts off far more villainous as a character who is given sympathetic points in some way to create an Anti-Villain. In the latter half of the manga, when her attitude has become a lot softer and remorseful, she's more of an Anti-hero. A character technically doing heroic deeds and even going as far as to help others but still containing flaws as character that prevents her from being a true hero. |
