Krillin > #18, in DBS because she thinks he's cool. And I think Krillin tells her what to do more than she tries to boss him around.

#18 > Krillin, in GT because she's punks him throughout the series. She's mean with words and makes him do all the work. Krillin is a little whipped in GT.

Vegeta >>/< Bulma. Although Bulma is strong-minded, Vegeta still has the edge with his irresistible bad-boy traits Bulma can't shake.
Vegeta bosses Bulma around more than she bosses him. From time to time, she also cracks with emotions over her hubby. Vegeta probably keeps his emotions to himself when it concerns Bulma.

Chichi > Goku. She wears the pants, at the Son home and everywhere else. Goku is terrified of Chichi.

Videl > Gohan, early Boo arc.

Gohan = Videl. They are lovebirds during late in the Boo arc+.

Agree? Thoughts?

I guess I had Super/EOZ in mind for them.

They were hardly dating during the Boo arc, so you can't count it as much. You still can't, but not that much. Videl smoothed out by the time she lost Gohan to death, so after that they were close to evening out.

As Asian DragonBall generally gets, Toriyama's style of Female > Male charactets, esp spouses comes off as suprise

He breaks some cliches typically seen in shounen

Pretty much agree. But even EoZ 18 seems condescending towards Krillin

Thats true, which is probably where GT got her to be like that.

I don't think Bulma did any bossing around of Vegeta, did she? Maybe convincing but not bossing around.

Bulma could never tame the wild beast, Prince of Saiyans, the Demon Prince, Vegeta-Sama

They have this "slight" mutual understanding. Dats all imo. Bossing around? No chance

Even in GT, when Veggie had pretty much calmed down, Bulma still has only like 50-60% control.

Like when she interupts Veggie's hasty departure to help Kakarot fight against Shenron. Instead, he trained as per Bulma's advice, while Bulma figures out the way for Veggie to acheive SSJ4. Mutual understanding you see...

It may be just me but I think Goku is way too whipped in Super. I dunno why the writers for the anime must constantly enforce that Goku is in an emotionally abusive relationship as a joke... it's not funny and it never will be. Episode 15 and 17 of Super was hard to watch because of Chi-Chi's outrageous behavior and how Goku just took it.

Thankfully now Toriyama has more creative control over Super so likely no more derpy and emotionally-abused Goku or psycho-bitch Chi-Chi.
