As long as they're given the code names Snake, with the prefix of a state of matter to differentiate them, I approve. |

I think it's great that we won't be limiting ourselves to crappy natural limits. Imagine we upgraded our species to the point where people could casually live to 150, would never get things like cancer or severe physical and mental disorders and were naturally more intelligent. But yeah it would probably end in tears, only a select few would be allowed that privilege and they'd be used in all the wrong ways that kind of technology would just be mass employed as a weapon as soon as it were available. And there's literally no reason why these people wouldn't come to think they're better than everyone else, Captain America was already a good guy and that serum made him more heroic so obviously he wouldn't turn on the weaklings he defends. This kind of thing could all go wrong like it did in a story in X-Files, there were groups of children made to be better in all ways but not only was their strength etc etc increased but also negative things like psychosis so they all ended up with murderous tendencies. There's probably too many variables to account for all that could go wrong. |
