My Dear Melancholy,

Anyone feels like instead of the other way around or keeping them completely separate (like they should since it's an alt universe). The movies been effecting the comics more and more. Sometimes comics are promotion for the movies. Like I know that the movies bring in bigger money but I think they should be separate.

Normally they'll ignore all the character development and restart the books number to 1. Something like New Movie New comic book! Like Superior Spiderman ended because TASM2. Why promote TASM2 when you have a well liked series?

There is also the fact the costume changes to reflect the movies

What's your thought on this?

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

...

I'm just saying that the movies shouldn't have any power to change anything over the comics. Just because they're popular doesn't mean anything. Sometimes they give the movies way too much credit, in my opinion.

The reason is probably that they would rather be cash cows than be true to their following. That or they're low on funds.

Considering the movies have given us things from Coulson, to the guardians finally getting recognition, to apocalypse getting a new arc, I really don't mind it. Heck, IIRC, a movie was what gave superman the ability to fly in the first place.
The only actual minus is Nick Fury Jr
