Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I don't know if I have it exact but it's something like: "What's the difference between heartless and artless?"

I don't get it.

Is it literal, like if you're not a very arty person or don't appreciate art you're heartless?

Because I wouldn't consider myself heartless, love animals for one thing but art doesn't interest me nor am I capable of creating more than mishapen stickmen if I try to make any.

Yeah it's literal. They're saying people that don't have a thing for art don't have a heart (not that literal I guess since it doesn't mean the organ).

Rhymes^

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I've never heard the saying, but I'd guess it means that all art comes from the heart, or something along those lines. It doesn't necessarily mean that if you have a heart you can create great art, but that if you don't have one, you are incapable of doing so.

"Next time?"
"Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is."

Oh wait a minute I buggered it up "What's the difference between artless and heartless?"

Artless is supposed to come first that totally changes it

Still not sure how valid a statement that could be though what if you're fantastic at drawing pictures of people and do something better than the Mona Lisa?

All you'd need is a BS story to go with it and people would fawn over how deep and emotional you are, even if you were just doing it for money because you happen to be fabulous at drawing stuff.
