A kaleesh warrior who got tricked into fighting the Jedi by Dooku, who bombed his ship along with him without Grievous knowing. Grievous then abandoned his old name Sheelal, and was turned into a cyborg against his own will. Dooku convinced him that the Jedi had done this to him, and Grievous swore revenge until he found defeat at the hands of Mace Windu and later on Obi-Wan Kenobi, after slaying hundreds of Jedi and becoming a threat to not only the whole Jedi order, but to the Sith aswell, according to Sidious, if he ever decided to betray them.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |

Super Saiyan among Super Saiyans

Before Revenge of the Sith, Cartoon Network had a show called Clone Wars. For simplicity's sake, this show is usually referred to as 2003 Clone Wars or Microseries Clone Wars. 2003 Clone Wars featured a version of General Grievous that is significantly different from the version in Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars. First, his combat prowess is tremendously better. He dueled five Jedi simultaneously -- including Council members Ki Adi Mundi and Shaak Ti -- and won. Second, he has a more robotic voice. Third, his personality is more serious and intimidating. In fact, he was so cool, I was disappointed with the underwhelming duel he had with Kenobi. He didn't seem like the same character. That's what he was asking? I feel like he could've watched the 2003 miniseries, it's not that long. All praise Genndy Tartakovsky, btw. |

I've watched it more than once. I totally remember who he is now. I just didn't connect the name and character. |
