Sorbet's ring was ridiculous. There was nothing to imply that it was anything different compared to your usual PTO issued blaster that the grunts wore. That's the thing with DBZ, though. You're chastised for using cheap cowardly tactics if you do what Jeice did, which by the way was a pretty simple feint to miss. I'm surprised Goku fell for that when he's toted as being some kind of "genius" in fighting. Of course, referring back to Multiverse, I found myself rooting for Eleim when he fought Bra because I thought he was a fresh take on a character in the DB universe (even if it was fan-fiction). A fighter who uses technology and the laws of physics to succeed on a planet full of power houses who win by having greater strength sounds awesome, at least in theory. Part of me wishes Super could take some inspiration from that if they're going to be using ideas from DBM. |
