In late 2014 we heard that Warner Bros. and television network TNT were working on a live-action Teen Titans show that would star Nightwing. Then last year we got an update on the project, with details about the main characters. Unfortunately the project has hit a roadblock.

Today at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, TNT president Kevin Reilly revealed that the network decided to pass on Titans. “We just decided it wasn’t quite where we wanted to go,” he said.

:| ....no....This broke my heart.

Please let this never happen.
I mean seriously the original TT cartoon is so goddamn overrated it's ridiculous, imagine how overhyped this would be, only for the fans to realize it's not entertaining at all.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

I think Darker is letting his disdain for anything in DC not Superman related cloud his eyes, Teen Titans for what it was, was a phenomenal show.

That said, a live action Teen Titans can't be worse than TTGO.

I'm sorry? You sound like someone who knows me... Do you? You don't? Ya, that's what I thought.

The original Teen Titans cartoon was mediocre at best. The characters were plain and simple, the villains went from meh to bad really fast and same goes for the seasons as a whole. There was very little development with the characters and the only one who got fully developed was the comic relief of the team, Beast Boy. Oh, and did I mention the big amount of Deus Ex Machina?

At least the comics had some charm and the characters had some charisma. And at least "Slade" wasn't just evil Batman(yeah go watch it again and you'll realize he's just Batman doing evil stuff).

Guy can't take a joke that's based off of his attitude towards any Superman hate. Wow.

I think you're confusing that for another TT abbreviation.

It is. Compared to other superhero shows, it's nothing new.

It was also a show for children so...there's that.

Does it need to be Shakespeare or something?

It was well loved by it's target audience not sure why adults expect more from a kids show...

Anyway yeah I don't think Teen Titans would ever work as a live action series, especially since it would need to be CGI heavy meaning either costly production or really s***ty Syfy CGI.

I don't think the people it would be aimed at would be familiar enough with the characters to forgive that either, Robin and Cyborg are the only notable ones unless you read comics.

Plus I think Cyborg is coming to Justice League so it'd be dumb to have a teen version in there.

A new cartoon that isn't Teen Titans Go! I would be down for though, that s*** is disgusting. Teen Titans was for kids or early teens...I have no idea who Go! is aimed at, probably 3 year old's.

Yeah, er... Being a show for children is no excuse. Have you ever watched Gargoyles? Or Beast Wars? Those are for kids, and they're fantastic.

Teen Titans is one of the better superhero shows... Only ones that I'll say is better is Batman Animated Series, Justice League, Static Shock, and Spectacular SM

What about Spider-Man TAS, or X-Men TAS, or Avengers: EMH? Those are definetely way better. Even Batman: The Brave & The Bold is better.

No, No(I'm not a X-Man fan period), Never seen it, and no. Batman Brave and Bold is not superior.

TT had more charismatic characters, better rememberable characters, better opening, more interesting plots, Raven, The best Robin outfit and haircut (IMHO), and it's very good at rewatch value.

Not to mention the creators was clever and did Japanese openings for goofy episodes and English for more serious plot episodes.

That's dope. And yeah it's kinda right lol. Well imo obviously. Haven't exactly explained your case here. Plus Blue Cyborg> Red Cyborg.
