Very Easy (Season 2)
Boss: Shenron
Sub-Boss: Dabura
Stage 5: Bulma
Stage 4: Frieza
Stage 3: Maron
Stage 2: Tien
Stage 1: Goku

Easy (Season 2):
Boss: Shenron
Sub-Boss: Dabura
Stage 6: Tien
Stage 5: Master Roshi
Stage 4: Vegeta
Stage 3: Hercule
Stage 2: Maron
Stage 1: Majin Buu

Normal (Season 2):
Boss: Shenron
Sub-Boss: Dabura
Stage 7: Blonde Launch
Stage 6: Piccolo
Stage 5: Maron
Stage 4: Tien
Stage 3: Master Roshi
Stage 2: Hercule
Stage 1: Frieza

Hard (Season 2):
Boss: Shenron
Sub-Boss: Dabura
Stage 7: Piccolo
Stage 6: Yamcha
Stage 5: Hercule
Stage 4: Maron
Stage 3: Blonde Launch
Stage 2: Master Roshi
Stage 1: Vegeta

Very Hard (Season 2):
Boss: Shenron
Sub-Boss: Dabura
Stage 7: Gohan
Stage 6: Goku
Stage 5: Yamcha
Stage 4: Piccolo
Stage 3: Trunks
Stage 2: Bulma
Stage 1: Master Roshi

The main objective of the game is to work your way up the ladder until you face Dabura then Shenron. Even though Shenron's the final boss and is mostly good, the ultimate prize of all seven Dragon Balls certainly is too good to reject. Beat Shenron, and then he'll grant you one wish.

Anyway, this is Season Two of this fan made DB Trilogy fighting game.

Don't worry, fellow DBZF forum members! More seasons are on the way in the near future, so if you want to take a look and review what you like about all five battleplan ladders in Season 2, tell me what you like about the list of opponents in order.

So basically this is a fighting game being developed or what exactly? Is this a gauntlet where we being characters in? Honestly Shenron seems odd considering he died to King Piccolo, but the whole easy to hard sends to make the characters a lower tier in general.

I'm going to be honest, I think I'll need a full explanation before I can really tell what's going on.

Actually no matter what the ladders seem very random. Especially with the placement of Maron and Mr. Satan.

@Tin Man

Whaddya like about the battleplans from Season 2 that involve Maron though?

Update Edit: The full explanation that you asked me for...I will give a whole answer to you: the whole Very Easy to Very Hard tends to bring characters down a notch or two? Wrong, Very Easy could mean a quick short ladder while Very Hard could take forever to achieve. Normal is pretty much 50/50, while Hard could take you up to 30 minutes.

For example, the last Z Fighter on Stage 7 of Very Hard on Season 1 was Yamcha, but the last and seventh Z Fighter you're facing on Very Hard in Season 2 will be Gohan right after you face Goku on Stage 6 of Very Hard on Season 2. Both times you start Season 1 & 2 on Very Hard with Roshi before you advance to Stage 2 where you'll fight Bulma.

Well... I'm gonna try to answer more broadly what I feel on these ladders. At first I figured Shenron was a bad choice based on who he died to, but in terms of an interesting bake, if you allowed him to use the same power he used to grant wishes and gave more leeway in terms of power he makes allot more sense as a final boss in a game, being much more interesting that facing say, Goku, Buu or even Omega Shenron based on his Dragon Body and to an extent reality warping. So if this is like a video game, I'm favour of Shenron now. Not so much if this is like most other versus but as a final boss I can see him being pretty awesome. Stage as his body and such.

Dabura is a similarly interesting choice, I'm not sure he's a good sub-boss exactly, his stone do is deadly but not particularly interesting to deal with. Pretty much forces a ranged assault if you're cqc isn't perfect. I'd prefer someone like Cell or Buu to be in there, someone more likely to be able to get a gimmick of their own, such as Buu going different movesets as time goes on and a last ditch effort barring absorbing you.

As far as "normal" humanish fighters, Goku generally has a large enough repertoire of ki technique to justify him being on the later levels, he shouldn't be a round one, he's too hard to top without the more crazy fighters. Like Gohan, the fusions, Buu, and that's about it.

Roshi is interesting, he's got the last resort, and muscle mode to trip up players. I think he's best as a round one.

Bulma needs a tech suit minimum to be a factor, even them I doubt it, but hey, you might get something more interesting.

Hercule is generally a joke, and shouldn't really be anywhere on the list, if he must be there, make him round one, something to teach the player.

Piccolo is a good choice, good fighter and you can utilize his unique techniques and physiology if need be, he's a great choice honestly.

Launch I think could be used to introduce transformations to the player, it's a fairly safe one ask things considered. No great power increases, mostly she just brings out weaponry, so that can be unique and provide a challenge.

Though again, I'll have to repeat, I'm not totally sure what these battle plans are for. I've kinda been working off the assumption that this is for a video game being developed or a mod.

Oh okay, I think I kind of understand the idea. In any case Goku can still work great to prolong a match with his transformations and IT.

Sorry if I seem dumb in some of these points.
