As we all know, Vegeta went on to train with Whis after the event of the BoG arc. It was rather... Underwhelming to be honest.
How would you have handled it?
First is you can dedicated however many episodes you want to it, perhaps even a while arc's worth if you so desire.
Bonus round is you have the span of episodes that happened between the BoG and the f*** Gohan FnF arc, how would you handle that training now?

"I am the bone of my sword."

Whis: Alright Vegeta-san, it's time for your training method the first thing that needs to be done is to get you some God Ki.

*Whis turns around and lays down a massive fart on Vegeta*

Whis: Congratulations Vegeta-san, you now have God Ki.

Vegeta: Thank you Whis-Sempai!

And that's how it should have happened...prove me wrong.

If I had any say in Dragon Ball, I'd make any training episode a 3 to 5 minutes music Montage send call it good. Yeah it's lazy but it's faster and doesn't kill the pacing. That way a story arc that can be told in 4 episodes doesn't turn into 12.

I would dedicate an episode or two to it, and have it not be physical whatsoever. Rather metaphysical.

With some bitchin 80s tunes playing in the background, preferably from the Rocky franchise ;)

I would dedicate at least two episodes, where a good portion of the episode is shown the type of training Whis instructed Vegeta to do. I prefer the theory that Vegeta got his potential from Vegito's split and that because of the ritual, Vegeta was exposed to the god powers.
