Dragon Ball Z Buu Yuu Retsuden was a Sega Genesis game that's been since long forgotten after 1993-94 because DBZ video games are either Budokai or Budokai Tenkaichi on the PS2 games.

As said, Buu Yuu Retsuden was based on the Cell Games saga with a few leftovers from the Frieza Saga.

The characters representing the Z Fighters in this game are Goku, Piccolo, Future Trunks, Vegeta, Krillin and Teen Gohan.

And representing the evil forces are Android #18, Cell, Frieza, Captain Ginyu and Recoome. Adding to a total of 11 characters, 6 heroes and 5 villains. Maybe Raditz or Android #17 could've taken up an extra spot for villain slot 6 just to even the odds.

Another solid entry in the Butoden series. If it weren't for Ultimate Battle 22 and Final Bout the whole Butoden series (1-3, Buyu Retsuden, Shin Butoden, Extreme Butoden, Ultimate Butoden) would be great.
