Differences between DBSuper and BoG movie?

I've only watched bits and pieces of a few Dragonball Super episodes, but it seems to be going in the same direction as the 'Battle of Gods' movie (the introduction of Beerus the Destroyer, etc.)

Are there any big differences other than it being episodic?

However, I don't imply this to be a bad thing. I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen after Goku and Beerus finish their fight. (It might introduce Frieza's revival as well).

I'm getting very angry with you, and for me that is a very bad thing, so watch yourself.

In terms of overall plot, no, they've just brought in more filler and the pilaf gang in a few too many times while cutting some other stuff like the origin of the ssjg.
BoG overall gives a more complete story, Super gives a longer fight. In terms of plot you won't miss much of anything if you skip the first two arcs, just watch the movies, and start watching at the universe six arc.

I can list the differences, if you want:
-The arc begins with Goku doing some radish farming, and receiving 100 million Zeni from Mr. Satan
-Goten and Trunks try to find a present for Videl during the first episode as well.
-The second episode has Vegeta going on vacation with his family.
-The second episode reveals that Bulma's birthday party will take place on a cruise ship this time around.
-The third episode is where things start to pick up, as Whis travels to a planet to find some alien meat for Beerus. Beerus gets fed up with waiting and travels to the plane himself, only for him to decide he doesn't want the meat, and blows the planet up, along with it's inhabitants.
-Episode 4 is an episode dedicated to the Pilaf gang, who are on some small island looking for something, when Goten and Trunks open a vault containing the Dragon Balls, which had been blocking the signal on Pilaf's dragon radar. After Pilaf gets a signal, they wind up on Bulma's ship.
-Episode 5 changes up the fight with Beerus and Goku a little bit. Goku starts the fight as a Super Saiyan, and as the fight progresses he undergoes further transformations.
-Episode 6 gets rid of bingo Vegeta in favor of chef Vegeta.
-Episode 7 changes the tone of Vegeta's outburst when Beerus slaps Bulma. It's taken much more seriously.
-Episode 8 extends the extended scene in Battle of Gods where Oolong plays a game or rock-paper-scissors with Beerus.
-Episode 9 extends the length of the Super Saiyan God ritual, making it feel more divine I guess you could say.
-Episode 10 marks the beginning of the fight between Super Saiyan God Goku and Beerus, and it's changed up a little bit in that Goku has to get used to the Super Saiyan God form.
-Episode 11-14 just change up the fight choreography and extend the length of the overall battle. At the end of the battle Vegeta also claims he's going to surpass Goku without turning into a Super Saiyan God, which he does.
-Episode 15 gives us a bit of filler where Mr. Satan explains to the press that he beat Beerus, and an alien warrior comes to Earth to fight the man who beat Beerus, which he and his friends assume is Mr. Satan.
-In episode 16, Vegeta asks Whis for training, to which Whis agrees to do as long as he gets delicious food.
-In episode 17, 6 months pass, Pan is born, and Goku goes off to train with Whis.
From this point onward, you could say the Resurrection F arc starts up. If I missed anything important, let me know.

That's what I was thinking; just wanted to be sure. I've already seen the Battle Of Gods movie, but I still intend to watch DB Super when it comes out in English.

And thanks Lord Vader for listing all the differences!

-Like he wasn't already?
-Goku has always been mentally unstable.
-Are you trying to imply he wasn't a "sissy" in the newer films?
-As if he wasn't during the Majin Boo arc?
-Moreso the art, but yeah, it's not the best.

No, frankly he wasn't, in the BoG arc he's outright schizophrenic. Character and presentation constantly changes in an inconsistent manner, they clearly couldn't decide what character he was.

Never to the point that Piccolo and Vegeta were squeaky clean heroes in comparison.

Well he was actually stomped by the main villain in the movies, not a mook and a joke move like in the anime.

The other two are fine, though I would say Piccolo wasn't completely useless in buu arc, BoG though yeah.

I remember in BoG Goku was downright angry that he could never have that SuperSaiyan God power on his own. I would totally expect this kind of behavior from Vegeta, but not from him. Goku's always enjoyed fighting and getting stronger, but the Goku I know in DBZ was always ready to admit that someone was stronger than him without getting all bent out of shape.

True, though Beerus had to basically get him to talk about it first, plus during the end of the fight, while happy that is his power now, he admitted he can't hold back the blast, and after he managed that he still clearly humbled himself and admitted he lost by a large margin. I wouldn't say it's too bad in BoG, not like Super where it really feels like that.

Man, and Super replaced those moments with Goku telling Beerus to shut up...

I haven't seen any episodes from Super yet. Do you mean to say that Goku's even worse?
