Alucard is weird. He has lots of powers, but is mainly a brainless brute who abuses regeneration. I'll give Otto the edge due to having better established power. He can't kill Alucard, but if Alucard is Level 0 he'll eventually overtax his regeneration All of this is Pre-Schrodinger since that Alucard is a mystery |

See I don't know nothing about Spider-Man while I know basically everything about Alucard. So I'm just going to go by what I know. Alucard is literally composed of millions upon millions of souls, so much that when released they can swarm the near entirety of London, creating vast walls that rise all the way into the sky. To be put that in perspective, London holds a population of 8 million and that's with everyone nicely spread apart, Alucard's army was like an ocean at this point. At this case, unless Spidey has a really strong religious weapon on him, he better have a lot of time on his hand to spend to kill Alucard millions upon millions of times. He casually caught a bullet in his mouth that was running circles around a SR-71 Blackbird and has ripped people apart faster than the eye can see. When releasing Level Zero, he unleashes said "Ocean of Army" which holds people like "Faster than Black Bird firing bullets Rip Van Winkle" and "Anti-Tank Shell Cutting Playing Cards" Tubalcaine Alhambra in the mix along with again said massive army along with Alucard's usual powers. The difference here is that Alucard can be killed now if you take out his heart. It's basically giving up defense for a hell of a lot of offense. And the at the end, Alucard gets turned into an imaginary concept. He literally becomes the concept of the Schrodinger box, as the Major says..."An Imaginary Number" And through the sheer, ultimate power of of bulls*** so great it may make Pre-Crisis Superman's feats look tame....came back. Alucad literally gave the middle finger to God's will and came back from essentially not existing. But at this point I feel its rather bad to even go to this point. But yeah, this is basically Alucard, he also has his guns, Baskerville, Regeneration, Body Manipulation and Mind Control. So how his opponent handles all that, I'll let you all decide. |

Come on, that doesn't count as Alucard himself. That's like saying that Sauron automatically comes with the ability to summon the Nazgul
He doesn't need to. Just web him up if he doesn't go Level 0 and if he does go Level 0, beat at him until his regeneration gets overtaxed
Yet gets torn to shreds like he's made of plywood when faced with regular bullets. Alucard's got no density control and it was the same form, so yeah.
![]() Whipping the asses of four superheroes in a split second>taking down some random cops in a split second
This really a matter of discussion by the OP. Does he have his army or not? He can obviously be at Level 0 without it as seen with Walter. Also, at Level 0, he can get tired and have his regeneration slowed down
This form appeared for just a few minutes, using it is like if someone used adult Godzilla Jr. in a thread about Godzilla Jr.
Guns are useless. Not only does Spidey dodge them constantly, but Alucard's aim is pretty bad. Only impressive bit of shooting was hitting the Nail. Baskerville's ability to appear in the battle is really debatable, even if it does, it's slow and SpOck prefers close range to midrange. Regeneration can be overtaxed, and that will happen faster than SpOck getting tired. Alucard barely ever uses Body Manipulation in combat and never against actually tough opponents. He never used Mind Control in a fight. |

Not really, the souls are a part of Alucard himself. Going Level Zero is just him going fully unrestricted in his powers. The Nazgul are separate beings loyal to Sauron, not the same thing.
You're making that sound way too easy. Without Level 0, even if he does catch him Alucard has his further release forms. Are those webs necessarily going to hold Alucard in his first release forms? It definitely won't stop him from going Level 0 if he's caught prior to that. And when in Level 0, Spiderman has to get past Alucard's massive army first, which he isn't just going to get past easily. There's a f***ton of them.
Because he generally just stands there and lets it happen. In his fight with Luke Valentine, he commented that Alucard didn't even try to dodge them. The quote just shows what he would do if he actually wanted to. Bloodlust generally means going all out so it should be taken in to account.
Not letting him have that army is nerfing him because it's a legit ability of his, not just something separate he can summon to him or something.
I sort of agree with this stance but, at the very least, we know Alucard has Schrodinger's abilities and we know what they are, you can scale to that. And Schrodinger is one of the most broken characters in that series but plot made him an idiot that didn't use his abilities in any constructive way (except that one time when the plot actually called for it). To be fair I know nothing about Spiderman so for all I know he does just destroy Alucard but just wanted to reply to a couple of things. Edited by Copy_Ninja, Nov 30 2015, 08:52 PM.

His flesh still breaks from them, that's my point
And Sauron could bring forth wraiths of all kinds upon coming forth, it still does not make it a part of himself. I'll admit if he has the army and is bloodlusted he wins due to the power of the cheap shot, but I just don't see why the army should be a considered as included. IDK, it just feels off for him to have it when it's obvious that some of them retain their individuality(Alhambra and Rip are laughing their heads off the entire time). If OP says he has his army, then I'll concede to SpOck losing. But I started this off with the idea in mind of him not having his army, so yeah.
Yes, those webs if applied sufficiently will hold Alucard. Alucard hasn't shown the strength to break webbing that when fully applied can hold up a building. ![]()
Of course, I'm not denying that. I'm just saying that Alucard's Level 2 durability is inconsistent. In most scenes, bullets shred through him as though he's actually less durable than a human. In other scenes, he takes an armor piercing bullet to the jaw and it's only slightly torn open. Alucard can't control his durability without transforming, so I'm saying that it's doubtful he's going to take punches from Spider-Man too well unless he transforms
To say that he can tele-frag someone is assuming. For all we know, Schrodinger, for some reason or other, cannot do that. Or maybe he's just a huge idiot, we don't know. |

Alucard has never been shown to be a durable character. His entire forte is that because of the vast number of lives in him and his obscene regeneration, he can take as much punishment as he likes and never grow tire of it. Also, how exactly is Spiderman going to actually hold onto to Alucard? It won't surprise me if he has the physical power behind his webs to hold him, Alucard hasn't exactly shown extreme physical feats, instead relying on his weapons or his swiftness in battle. But what I'm saying it, what's stopping Alucard when he's caught from just...transforming into bats...or mist...or just sinking down into the floor as a puddle of blood? Unless these are some unique kind of webs, you can't just hold Alucard down physically. He has absolute full control over his body and can manipulate it as he sees fit. Also Alucard's regeneration has never been taxed. The only time there was any ill effects on his body was against Alhambra who specifically uses cards designed to keep wounds from healing and God Monster Anderson whom is literally designed to beat the hell out of people like Alucard. Anything else doesn't matter, so unless Spidey has a special Anti-Regeneration Serum on him, he's got to do this the old fashion way and that's just beating on Alucard and that's not going to tire him out. Normal weapons and abilities can only do physical damage, if you want to really harm Alucard you need special weapons or religious items and it was only the real big items like Helena's Nail that truly put a damper on Alucard's body. Also, just because Alucard doesn't use something in battle, doesn't mean he doesn't have it. Now its hard to say how well his mind control would work since he's only used it once and that was only a regular human. But he's still shown illusions, body manipulation, super speed, Baskerville, regeneration, guns and all that. And with this being a bloodlusted, no morals fight, its expected that both combatants will give everything they can to win. |

If Alucard could do this in combat, he would have done it to Anderson instead of nearly being ripped apart by the vines. Alucard is either very stupid with how he uses his powers or he can't do it in combat. Either way, since he was clearly bloodlusted against Nail Anderson, it doesn't apply here.
![]() This is after Walter beats on him for a bit, he's panting hard and not all of his wounds have healed up. Later in the fight, his arm takes a fair chunk of time to regenerate. He was definitely getting tired, which won't bode well against Spider-Man, who can fight at full exertion for 12 hours while getting his life energy drained
Walter's wires were doing the job well enough
That's not how it works. Alucard has already shown his blood lusted state, and he did nothing but bullrush forward, using his regeneration to damage soak before landing a single devastating blow. He did not shape shift, he did not mind control, he did no odd abilities, he just charged forward. Just because a character should logically do something doesn't mean they will. We've seen both bloodlusted SpOck and Alucard in action, and that's enough to judge their perfomances |

Dude, you don't just decide when a character can and can't use an ability when he's clearly shown that ability. I'm sure there's plenty of times Spiderman has shown an ability once that for whatever reason he didn't bring up, probably for plot related reasons. You can't just say Alucard can't manipulate his body when he in fact has manipulated his body. That's an a piss poor argument and you know it my friend. Alucard never tried to regenerate in his battle aganst Walter though. In fact, he's screwing badly with Walter. And mind you, this is an Alucard without any of his lives on him. Panting only shows stamina issue, not regeneration. Alucard is never shown to have a regeneration issue of this fight. Walter's wires weren't doing s*** to Alucard. Alucard was playing Walter the fool the entire time. The most Walter could do was superficial damage. If you want to kill Alucard, you have to firstly take out all of his lives (which I'm wondering very much if Spidey here has that capability, the time, resources and power to try to carve away at the multitudes of lives inside of him. And then if he can get through those and finally get Alucard down to his singular life, he must take out the heart. This is the only way to kill Alucard. Alucard outright states when fighting God Monster Anderson: Volume 08, Official English Volume Pg. 156 Alucard: "Now for us both, the one way to die, rot and perish is to bore this out...the bowels of our hearts." I know Hellsing. I have all the volumes, seen all the OVAs, if there's anything that I know, its this series. Do not try to make some claim that Alucard can't do something when he clearly can. You might say mind control won't work, fair enough, but don't even try to claim that Alucard can't attempt things like illusion when he's clearly done it on Walter, or that Alucard can manipulate his body when he clearly can. I've seen this argument from you and I'm sorry, it isn't going to fly here. |

A character not using all their abilities points to a lack of tactical thinking. If you want an example, Destoroyah only uses the Horn Katana once despite it being very effective compared to his other attacks. Does that mean we assume he'll spam the crap out of it when bloodlusted?
Regeneration is usually clumped with stamina, but fine, I'll concede that. He won't lose his regeneration, he'll just be unconscious from exhaustion
I'm not denying the heart is the only place to kill him, but if he goes Level 0(and he has to unless he wants to get his butt kicked up and down the street for hours), then he will eventually falter and get tired before Spider-Man does.
Walter was the only enemy that he actually did this against. Maybe a little to Alhambra. Character mindset is important to vs fights. If a character doesn't use their arsenal effectively, even if just for plot, then it won't be applied when bloodlusted. That's something different from bloodlusted. It's like how arguing that Spider-Man pre-2007 could just kill villains by spraying webbing down their throats, even though he's never done this even while bloodlusted. Alucard has only shown the willingness to use illusions in actual combat, which doesn't work due to spider sense. Even the much vaunted mind control won't work because SpOck has a plate in his suit to protect against mental attacks. The only trick that could work is the shape shifting, but Alucard did not do this when bloodlusted |

...I have no idea who wins but I think I need a refresher on what bloodlust exactly refers to. I figured it was then kind of character offline and using their abilities to their best. Which usually means going straight for the kill. At least as I understood it. I'm beginning to think we need to make a thread on terminology as well. |

If Alucard's illusions don't work because of Spidey Sense, that wouldn't surprise me one bit. That's a fair argument to make. But what my issue here is that, you are purposely weakening Alucard by saying he can't do this or that when he's full on shown the capabilities of doing it and while plot my dictate whether or not he does something in the manga, that does not dictate what he'll do in this fight. Exact same thing with Spiderman here, we infer that Spiderman has all the capabilities he's shown and unless there was some sort of specific plot point that he could only use said ability, I'd expect him to have that ability. I may even expect him to have said ability even now. Just as I expect Alucard to have his regeneration, Baskerville, Mind Control, Illusions, Guns and all the jazz he's shown before. Whether those weapons of his actually work against Spidey, that's another story. On another note, just to point out. Alucard never tries to take on God Monster Anderson directly in the manga (after snapping out of his funk) in the OVA they have him ripping through vines and stuff and its really kind of hard to see what's going on in the online translations which with covers like this... Spoiler: click to toggle Which makes it look like he's ripping through vines. But in the actual clean volume the remnant of his army takes the brunt of the attack, being burned away in the process and then go in for the kill. Something again which is probably not noted as well in the OVA but is made clear in the manga just how much effort Alucard is putting in, sweat from his face and blood dripping from his mouth. I don't know if that has anything to do with this specific fight here, but I am pointing it out. |

It means not playing around and going for the kill. However, mindset is still intact. Rhino won't be concocting genius plans and Spider-Man won't be just spamming webbing without any punches or kicks. Morals off is not caring whether your opponent dies or not, but they're generally not going straight for the kill either. Morals on is basically a default.
We really need to define bloodlust in this thread and whether or not Alucard has his army or not.
![]() He's still flying into the vines. If he was willing to shape shift in combat, why not just turn into bats and fly over Anderson? Why not turn into shadow and slither on the floor? Instead he charges through them. It's smart that he uses his army as a shield, but the army thing is a point of contention by itself |
