Saitama outpaced someone who is light speed though right? Post crisis superman isn't that fast as far as I've seen Superman can fly, is smarter, and has heat vision. Can he beat saitama?

So that kind of puts them as roughly equals. I think I've been transported there as well. Then again I think this is the first time (or asking maybe ten at most) he's done something aside from argue dbs/dbz strengths, so I guess it's not totally out of the question. The manga is a separate entity based on the comic we don't have to base his feats on either or compare both. If one says he's planet busting and the other doesn't then one says he is and one says he isn't, why should we merge the two? Anyway hasn't Saitama still never went all out? Pretty sure he's been holding back the whole time. The whole point in his strength is that he can kill anything with one punch because he's just that strong. In a fight I'd say Saitama would win but give Superman some options and he could win, like if he destroyed the planet they were on Saitama would die or if he managed to throw Saitama in to space he might die too. Though it wouldn't surprise me if Saitama could exhale hard enough to blow his way back to whatever planet, he holds his breath on the moon just fine and jumps from it back to a planet so totally reasonable. So all in all I'd say pretty much 50/50 really depends how they fight. If Superman is going to go in there and think he'll tank everything he's dead. If Saitama takes forever to get serious Superman might figure out a way to win. So again 50/50 situation because Saitama never starts off serious and he's extremely unimposing Superman would have no cause for fear until Saitama wanted to attack him.
