Superman vs saitama

This is post crisis superman

They're both planet level in physical attacks. Saitama outpaced someone who is light speed though right? Post crisis superman isn't that fast as far as I've seen

Superman can fly, is smarter, and has heat vision.

Can he beat saitama?

What the hell is Saitama and why is he inciting another "Goku vs Superman" Flame War with King Kakarot?

Superman wins.
Because screw you he's Superman.
basically the fan mentality of western comics. its a battle of popularity.
you could find two evenly matched characters one from a comic and the other manga. most likely the western one will win.
Not really. That's the kind of comment I always make in a Superman VS thread because it's parodying the Batman joke of him being able to take down any opponent no matter what.

Either way, it's not some sort of mentality, it's the sheer truth. Going off by what the characters can do, western comics, or really, most comics from any country are more specific than most manga because they don't leave it to the reader's imagination.

Plus there's a ton of manga characters that are absurdly powerful too.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

"Superman is as strong as the plot needs him to be", "superman will win because he's superman" arguments won't work in other vs because it's outside of his comics

@ace nothing lol. He's a hero for fun and he's too strong for all the villains in his series

Yeah other people's arm there's no documented proof of what it would take to break my arm since it's never been broken.
Yes, but there are constraints in that situation, like how much force is required to break a bone of some density/elasticity, and how much possible density/elasticity a human bone can have. There's a limiting factor there.

Why would i assume he can tank attacks from people like TOAA when he's never shown the durability to stand up to people like that?
The problem is we have no data on the minimum level of attack required to damage him. Until we get that answer, how do we determine anything relating to that?

He's never been hurt in the webcomic to my knowledge but if you're assuming that he should be completely invulnerable to any attack that's a NLF

Might as well say any character in fiction who's never been hurt is completely invulnerable
I don't know what NLF means, but to address your second point, not every fictional character is assumed to be hiding a bunch of power and has never lost a fight. We can guess their physical stats based on their attributes and role in the story, but we can't with Saitama because in terms of his strength, it's defined as being completely mysterious and really large, not to mention completely implausible.

Even if he's suppressed, we can use the maximum strength he's used as his maximum strength, the maximum speed he's demonstrated as his maximum speed, and the maximum durability he's demonstrated as his maximum durability, but his durability has never been broken, so it doesn't actually have a maximum. It's like trying to figure out what it would take to break the One Ring. As far as we know, that can only be done by throwing it into Mount Doom. Saying that Superman could do it with his strength would be conjecture.
I love building PCs. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask. I can help you with almost any kind of PC you'd want to build.

we just go off Saitama's known feats and debate around them

You shouldn't assume Saitama can beat people stronger than the feats he's shown

Also No Limits Fallacy

This is when someone states that because something has not demonstrated any limits (or only certain limits) then it has none (or only the ones demonstrated).

@SSJ3 yeah that's boros and no he didn't use his full power against Genos

I have said before, Saitama has reached maximum power. through his training he was achieved enlightenment.
If you could see the stats or parameters of Saitama, they would all be at 100. he is a true S rank.
