Superman vs saitama

This is post crisis superman

They're both planet level in physical attacks. Saitama outpaced someone who is light speed though right? Post crisis superman isn't that fast as far as I've seen

Superman can fly, is smarter, and has heat vision.

Can he beat saitama?

The impression I get from Saitama leads me to believe that he'd probably wreck Superman in close-quarters combat.

Superman wins.
Because screw you he's Superman.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

basically the fan mentality of western comics. its a battle of popularity.
you could find two evenly matched characters one from a comic and the other manga. most likely the western one will win.

yeah he gets 1 shotted

Saitama is all hype with very little feats that prove he's even mid tier in fiction while Superman has better feats all across the boards

Superman has overall better feats, (using only webcomic Saitama) but I'd be willing to give Saitama a chance just because I'm fairly certain that he's never actually been damaged, meaning we can't assume that he can be damaged, I guess. Now, I'm not sure he could do any significant damage to Superman either (and assuming the sun doesn't burn out, Superman will heal anything easily). If the fight must go on until one of them dies, I guess Superman wins because Saitama will eventually die of old age.

that's not a good way of thinking

That's basically saying since i never broke any of my bones my bones can never be broken

You shouldn't assume a character is stronger than anything he's never shown

Not exactly. You're a regular human and it's well-documented what it takes to break your arm. Saitama's power is completely unknown.

If he got hurt while suppressed, I'd use that as his maximum durability, but he's never been hurt by any level of attack. Until he actually suffers a wound, he should be assumed invulnerable IMO.

What does it take to hurt him? What evidence do you have for your answer?

he clearly doesn't have infinite strength since you know every time he throws a punch the universe is still there

Yeah other people's arm there's no documented proof of what it would take to break my arm since it's never been broken.

Why would i assume he can tank attacks from people like TOAA when he's never shown the durability to stand up to people like that?

He's never been hurt in the webcomic to my knowledge but if you're assuming that he should be completely invulnerable to any attack that's a NLF

Might as well say any character in fiction who's never been hurt is completely invulnerable

he always hold back he never went full power thats why we can't assume he doesn't have infinite strength just because he doesn't have the feat for it since he always killed his enemies with one punch anyway

that argument doesn't fly becuase you can't quantify infinity at all.

So saying someone has infinite power is a paradox in itself
