Frieza in his Golden Form battles Cooler in his Fifth Form. Rules: -Frieza’s and Cooler’s power levels are equally matched. -No energy problems for Frieza in his Golden Form. Who Will Win? |

I'd say Cooler. More variety on the techniques department plus he's got better armor, I don't think the golden armor is literally made out of gold. Plus, I feel like he's a better fighter, just from how brutal his fighting style is. |
Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |

Agreed Darker. That and he's so much more thorough. Like he won't stop killing you until he has your body. He also seems to have better Ki control. Charged up his Super Nova in a second, Frieza usually needs a minute to get one revved up. |

Freeza's a much better fighter. Cooler was dumb enough to leave his supernova to deal with someone who had already been shown to outrank him, not to mention he did a lot worse against SSJ Goku than Freeza did after being drained of a lot of his energy. Cooler will maybe hold off Freeza for a while with his superior energy charging speed, but Freeza can easily adapt around even that. |

Frost Demon Mint convinced me that Golden Freeza is not in fact a slob, so I favor him. Cooler did nothing impressive aside from gathering his ki quickly...which pretty much everyone could do at that point. Freeza can just dodge it too, since the planet being attacked doesn't matter to him. |

This was a Goku who was stated to be stronger than he was on Namek. This isn't like Namek Goku vs Freeza and Namek Goku vs Cooler, it's two completely different Goku's. Cooler is far smarter, better control of his energy and there's even some subtle indication though nothing directly stated that Cooler could already sense energy. He at least wasn't walking around with a scouter at least. There's nothing really to indicate that there's anything Freeza doesn't know that Cooler doesn't but Cooler just shows a lot more control over his power that Freeza never had. In fact, once Cooler realized he was being overpowered by SSJ Goku, he took a different stance and nearly took Goku out until the latter uses the Kamehameha. |

I'm gonna give this to Cooler, he's more vicious, and has made use of things such as smoke screens to distract his opponents while he readies an attack, not to mention he can likely sense ki, something Freeza was never able to do. |

Cooler is hardly smarter. He is really just a Freeza clone by a different name with the only notable difference being he can increase his energy faster for Supernova, which is absolutely useless due to how slow it is unless you want to save the planet. Cooler may have used a smoke screen, but Freeza tried to drag Goku into the water like a crocodile |

No, but it shows he can use the environment and think outside the box. Cooler's only strategy was a smoke screen and then using the planet as a hostage |

But if we're counting strategies, why is that not valid? He took advantage of Goku's weakness for the planet as well as got enough distance to charge up a huge attack for that, very quickly once he realized he was in over his head. Freeza tried to drown Goku. They both show a level of thinking that puts them over their opponents. |

Cooler's strategy is something that Freeza also did though, but more effectively. Unlike Cooler, who sat in the air announcing his presence and threw it with the intent of hitting Goku, Freeza just quietly explodes the planet from the ground without giving a chance to react. |

Freeza tried to drown Goku? I believe he tried to do that on Namek in filler I think but if you guys are talking about that one moment in Ressurection F where Freeza grabs Goku when they're underwater. That's not exactly planning. That's just a moment of instinct. Goku was pounding his stomach in and Freeza practically on instinct just grabbed him and that threat lasted all of perhaps 10 seconds really. Freeza wasn't thinking outside the box on this was just plain fighting instincts. Cooler actually had a plan to help turn the tides of the battle to his favor. |

What plan? Stand up in the air while giving a speech about his greatness and not notice that his energy ball was being pushed back? Holding the planet hostage is not an innovative tactic at all. The fact that Cooler felt the need to give himself a self congratulatory speech already makes him more egotistical than Freeza. |
