I have a 16gb usb stick. Currently downloading. I won't do it until tomorrow though. Time to hit the bed here shortly. Now that I think about it, there is always an issue whenever I mess around with computers.

*sigh*

Lol! The timing of events! :p

FP, I'm creating the bootable USB drive as I type this. It's at 26%. Hopefully this works. ^_^

In the meantime, I'm going to upload the pictures from yesterday.

Oh for f***s sake.... Now what?!

I'm doing this through the repair ni hope it works:

DISKPART
LIST DISK
SELECT DISK 0 (after confirming Windows 7 target HD #)
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
FORMAT FS=NTFS LABEL="WINDOWS 7"
ACTIVE
EXIT
EXIT

I've already made sure BIOS is set and it does see the SSD.

There's a lot of solutions I've seen.

You could try reformatting the disk instead of trying to install it on partition that's already there.
Or you should make sure that your disk controller is set to AHCI.

I tried deleting, formatting, ect. Now, I'm doing what I listed to see if that label fixes it. Everything in BIOS is correct. I've already triple checked. I'll keep you updated on what happens now. It's 86% done formatting to the new label. I hope it works.

Not working. I'm at a f***ing loss.... :'(

Your advanced storage configuration menu shows the disks operating in AHCI mode, right? I see in the picture you posted earlier that you're disks were in UEFI mode. That should be changed if you haven't done so.

Also, you shouldn't be installing it to a partition, you should install it to "unallocated space", though I admit I'm unsure of how to create that.

Apart from that, I'm really not sure.

Everything is connected.

It's in AHCI mode.

I'm trying to create a new 100MB partition.

Don't partition it. It should look like this:

Delete all partitions with the advanced drive options.

Alright, then it has to be from inside the BIOS settings:

Same error when you click next, huh?

Well, I'll keep looking around, maybe try changing the Sata port you have the drive plugged into.

You can stop looking. I reset all settings to default and it worked.

For f***s sake. :'(

I'm making things harder than they appear. Lol....

A lot of other people have similar problems. Don't worry about it, and Windows seems pretty damn fidgety sometimes. I recall having some kind of issue with it when I reinstalled it for the first time a year or two ago.

Great to hear that it's working. Just praying for smooth sailing from here on out. ;)

Nice pics! Congratulations on having a working computer again. ;)

And yeah, have fun with them drivers lol. You should also download and install any Windows updates. There'll probably be quite a few with a fresh install.
