It truly was a Shawshank redemption

Didn't think it deserved a topic, but I watched a film called Bone Tomahawk the other night. I was looking forward to it because I like the Western genre and it had Matthew Fox in it (Jack from Lost, who's my avatar), but man, it was boring. And I'm usually patient with slower building shows and films, but there was very little character development and it felt like it was just purposely built to have nothing happen. Wouldn't recommend it.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I download so many smaller scale movies and never get around to watching them, it kinda annoys me.

Sitting down and watching a movie myself just doesn't get me going any more.
I want to watch that Russian Guardians movie, and I've had it there for months but nothing ignites the "Just do it" spark.

Maybe tomorrow...

I've also completely forgot there's some big movies out really soon. Can't wait for Justice League, hopefully it's got a similar polish to it that Wonder Woman had. That movie was great, just the action was a bit meh.

A friend and I are going back and forth between The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. It's both our first times watching Walking Dead, only her first time watching Game of Thrones.

That's a cool idea. What point are you at in Walking Dead? And how are you finding it?

Last episode we watched was the first episode of season 2. That's the episode where they're on the highway and then the zombies come. I'm really enjoying the series and I love how suspenseful it is. Unfortunately I know a lot of the characters who are still alive by the time of season 7. But it still doesn't take away the suspenseful feeling from the show. There are some characters that I have no idea whether they live or die, so I'm glad about that. I remember seeing so many spoilers pop up on websites on the internet last year. It's also really fun to hear my friend freak out every time someone gets attacked. Very good series so far though.

I've said this many times, but I fell out of TWD after Season 3. I'm pretty sure the last episode I saw as part of the contiguous story was "Welcome to the Tombs". Then I didn't watched the first part of Season 4 before watching every single episode of the second part. Pretty sure the last episode I saw, period, was "A".

Working on Agent Carter: Season One right now. So far I'm enjoying it far more than Agents of Shield, which did not do it for me. It's got some cheesy elements to it for sure, but I like the classic spy angle of the show, and Peggy Carter makes for prime waifu material.

I started watching that a little while ago, think I got to around the end of season 2/beginning of 3. I liked it. I can't remember why I stopped watching, but I intend to pick it up again at some point.

I would just like to point out that in that section of TWD Emmeth mentioned...
Someone appears to say "zombie" it happens. Shocking I know.

I'm currently watching that Russian movie Guardians...it's a cheesy and trashy superhero flick but...actually decent? If you know what you're getting in to it's rather enjoyable.

Also, freaking man who turns in to a half bear beastly dude, completely epic.
I would describe him as a werebear but that just sounds like care bear...

But he's basically a werebear and that's awesome.

The villain looks kinda dumb, that's my only real gripe but he is meant to be a messed up mutant guy. Just it looks like he's wearing a big rubber torso.

Then get ready for how underwhelming season 2 is.

Personally rank it like this

Aos S4 > AoS S2 >= AC S1 > AoS S3 > AoS S1 = AC S2

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

I've already heard as much, sorry to say. Luckily I only purchased Season 1 as basically a time filler, and might not end up moving on to Season 2 at all.

Is it even worth a watch?

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Nothing about those Marvel series gets me going but I can't quite put my finger on why exactly.

As soon as I started up Inhumans episode 1 even the camera work had me like "No"

It's like something about the way they're framed just seems wrong. Like they're trying too hard in all the wrong ways.

Arrowverse can be a bit overdramatic at times, ridiculous at other times but it mostly feels a lot more functional to me, some of the fight scenes are great and generally the effects are pretty decent.

Discounting the Netflix Marvel stuff, that s*** is awesome. Well, Iron Fist and Defenders wasn't but Punisher looks good.
