Nothing wrong with "Ego", it sounds cool and menacing, and that was the whole intention if him, since no one had created a living planet before. Unfortunately they shat all over the entire concept made by one of the comic industry's greatest genius. Because the MCU doesn't respect the comics AT ALL. I know Annabelle is bad before even seeing it. The doll's face cracks me up and I doubt there's any real atmosphere. The Child's Play and Puppet Master series were the first and best to do this concept, and all others try too hard to be scary when this concept isn't about scares so much as it is about fun. Horror movies lack that nowadays.

Just separate them like most people do.

At least they have straight faces from beginning to end in the DC movies, and don't crack a joke a single time. Now THAT is how you make a comic book movie. It's all my opinion, same way I respect yours, respect mine. This guy says many of the things I say a lot better than I would right now. The MCU has very well made movies, that doesn't mean they're good though, but the truth is, they're using other characters and painting them to look like the classic Marvel heroes, but they are in fact, no such thing, because they take away everything that made them great. It's going to be a pain in the butt to remember the good ol' days of Marvel thanks to these movies, they've turned Marvel into the crappy company they are now, unable to sell good comics without having to scream at the audience what their next fanfiction's gonna be like (e.g. the Wolverine/Hulk fusion). It's not a fascination so much as an opinion most of the comic book community shares. Edited by Darker, Aug 16 2017, 10:25 PM.

(assuming he wasn't created by someone in the MCU) Captain America is a symbol and being named after vegetables while sounds strange still sounds like a name. It's just an odd trait to name yourself after, considering he loves himself so much and thinks he ought to destroy the universe. Like he recognizes that his ego is actually a bad thing yet still does it regardless. Yeah I love how ridiculously sinister Annabelle looks...why? It's supposed to be a childs toy... Certainly some toys for children can be freaky looking but usually there's just something unsettling about their design...they don't look like they were made to seem horrific. I'm kinda over possession/ghost movies now. They are just all the same f***ing thing. Demon/Ghost possesses someone or something. Starts moving chairs and whatnot about at night for literally no reason. Starts doing stuff to people. Then either people die or a priest is called who either can't do anything or has to do some unorthadox thing. They pretty much always play out the same way. I'd like to see one where the demon or whatever terrorizes the family right away. Like it has significant power and can trap them in the house so they have to figure out how to survive and get help. That would be interesting, rather than just a slow build up. Could do some good psychological stuff there too like if it rips people out of their beds everyone would be on edge from lack of sleep.

It Follows is the only one that creeped me out in recent years, largely due to anxiety. The concept is pretty cool. Virtually everything else that pops up has been done before and done better. No idea how a genre can be so stale.

Pretty much every recent horror movie is about the same stuff as previous horror movies, they're not really trying anything new. Hardly any slasher flicks which is a shame. Also, yeah, Annabelle sucked. I skipped most parts because of how boring it was, though the door scare was pretty funny. The little girl suddenly hulked up into a grown up woman.

So... http://screenrant.com/kong-skull-island-director-metal-gear-movie-details/ It's still happening. Oh God it's going to be so terrible isn't it, especially if Konami f***s with it. Though maybe they don't have rights to it in movie form for some reason, let's hope not. I really want to see it but I have absolutely no hope for it being watchable. Either they'll make it too like the games and it'll stop being a movie or it will be nothing like them and won't be entertaining at all. Or maybe it will trigger a world ending apocalypse by actually being a good movie.

I'm glad that they keep trying to make video game movies but I also have no idea why they do since they almost always fail... The only one I really want to see is Shadow of the Colossus. That would be SO easy to do, they could easily make three movies out of it and just add a bit more story to it to fill in the gaps...considering there's like four instances of any dialogue. It'd make a great monster-action blockbuster series. I dunno if I'll go back to The Strain. Got a few episodes in to the second season and just wasn't feeling it. Which reminds me...still have to watch Supernatural, I'm like a season and a half behind

Same goes for JoJo, only that in JoJo's case I got up to episode 3, at least, and I already wasn't feeling it from the start. However the hell this works anyway. Could they not afford Emilia Clarke again since she's probably now a "big" actress after Game of Thrones? Guessing it's just a flashback or some weird timeline BS. Because that's what we all love Terminator for, it's the time shenanigans. Not, y'know, Terminators or anything. sigh Well, so long as they don't spoil the most major plot points in the trailers...
