Crazy Awesome Legend

The Incredibles is out in the UK next month. I'm looking forward to that.

Venom looks like a 50/50 to me. It really depends on how quickly we get to see the full Venom in action. I'm not interested in a story where he gradually becomes Venom and then we only see it in the final scene before the credits role.

I'll probably watch Incredibles 2 when it comes out here.

Halloween is one I'm looking forward to.

Yeah, Venom is the one I'm most excited about, as well as Halloween.

I expect The Incredibles 2 to be good, given that it's the same director who rarely disappoints. It's the same guy who did The Iron Giant, for crimeny.

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Yeah, f*** that. That's my main fear with the movie.

It's not a Warner Brothers movie so it shouldn't be sliced up to f*** like the DC films, I fully believe it'll be a functional movie but probably at worst average...unless they do that.

The way he uses the powers in the trailer is troubling, it definitely could be a case of him being like that most of the movie until he "unlocks" the full suit at the end.
If that is the case hopefully it's not just for like 3 minutes, a good long fight would be fine.

Most likely won't happen but can you imagine how weird it'd be if this did link up with the MCU and we had Tom Holland trying to play off of Tom Hardy? That would be so awkward with his 12 year old voice

Flashy Thing!

I saw the Incredibles last week! It was very good but also very similar to the first movie. I won't post spoilers here but it was overall every enjoyable.

I have high hopes for Venom. I really like Spider-man and I would love to see him and a good Venom on the big screen together. I was highly disappointed by the Venom in Spider-man 3.

I honestly still like Spider-Man 3 Venom, even though he acted more like Carnage half the time.
Maybe I've just been to desperate to see him on screen though, easily my favourite character from the cartoon which I watched every damn day

I'm sad we'll never see him in the MCU, most likely. But even if we did he'd probably be the kids version.

Though I guess the MCU has got a bit more brutal in recent movies, like with:

Inifnity War spoielrs

I would hope that they're going the Harry Potter route of making the series grow up along with it's audience, that'd be cool. Infinity War is the only one of them that felt like it had any stakes.

Like with Civil War oh no! We saw War Machine get rekt in the trailer! But he just loses use of his legs, which is rendered entirely unimportant the next time we see him because he easily gets magic legs made in this universe.

Just finished Luke Cage Season 2. I thought it was pretty good, although not as good as the first season. A second season being worse seems to be a trend with Marvel Netflix shows. The only exception, to me, is Jessica Jones; I thought the second season had a better story and better acting overall.

Gonna have to disagree with it being worse than the last season. It felt a lot more consistent, both a villain with an understandable motivation (Bushmaster) and a villain you love to hate (Black Mariah), along with a strong ending that without doubt will have an effect on the Netflix side of the MCU going forward. Not to mention the numerous crossovers now from other corners of that side and then finally getting Danny stand right and actually making me excited for iron fist season 2.

Oooh ouch, I found Luke Cage season 1 really really boring, I hope I find this to be an improvement.
Though I think the main reason why I find it boring is that black culture just doesn't interest me on any level really. Not much in to music anyway but jazz, hip-hop, rap and reggae bore me to tears and all that pops up a lot.
Not that I have anything against it, just not my thing.

Action is at least set up in the first episode.

It's weird that the people with actual superpowers have much more boring action scenes or a lot less of them, half of Iron Fist he couldn't even bloody use it properly. I get budget issues but still, Punisher and especially Daredevil had awesome fight sequences that must have taken far more effort and expense than just some special effects.

"Black culture doesn't interest me". This shouldn't be a factor at all for you considering you want a good story. The first season had a solid crime underworld story and incredible acting. I won't say that it comes off as to me because I don't want to start anything.

Yeah, but it devotes a lot of time to Cage just walking about in slow mo while some hip-hop or whatever plays and stuff like that turns my brain off. It's a culture I don't connect with on any level and half the series is about it so I'm sitting waiting for stuff I "get" to happen, if that makes sense.

And besides that story wise I found the first season to be really dull anyway Mariah and Shades are like the only interesting bad guys in it, Cottonmouth was a bore and Diamondback didn't have an awful lot of character.

Incredibles 2 was neat, but worse than the first one. Still better than most other superhero movies of the last decade or so.

Well, given that it's still Brad Bird, I don't expect it to be bad. I'll watch it one of these days.

I love how many Scottish people are on tv all the time. So much more interesting to listen to than English people.

We are nice gruff ars*$#es wait that's not in the word filter? Censoring myself just incase...

Going to watch Unbreakable with my girlfriend at some point since she's not seen it.
Totally forgot Glass was coming out, can't wait to see that. That's like the only crossover I care about because it was such a surprise and no s***ty trailer or anything gave it away.

James McAvoy is fantastic, hope he gets an Oscar some day.
