I wish the Night of the Living Dead series would stop f***ing around and come out with a proper movie, all these found footage things are absolutely terrible. If it's not that it's trying to be really different and it always sucks.
Don't expect those to not suck now that Romero is gone. :(

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Well they've been stagnating for ages now maybe this will encourage them to change things up or go traditional out of respect, probably not...

I wonder what this Lord of the Rings TV show will be like? If it can pretty much be like the movies but expanded that should be brilliant, hope they don't c*** it up.

The LoTR TV-series is apparently gonna do one era a season. They'll follow Aragorn's early adventures in season 1 and then move on to something else for the next season.

Ah didn't know that, that's pretty cool.

I hope the fight scenes are good like GOT style. It's kinda lame how you have these badass Uruk's in the first movie and they literally all get taken out by a single slash or a rock thrown by a Hobbit, save for that one dude.

Doesn't really make the heroes seem as skilled as they're meant to be when beating their enemies really just seems kinda effortless

Effortless fighting means they are skilled. Afaik Tolkien didn't really write that many fights, especially not with no-name grunts.

Lord of the Rings isn't really about brutal medieval action, or at least shouldn't be.

One age per season, huh? Interesting. Admittedly they're gonna have to cut out a lot, because even if the seasons are longer than usual (26 episodes or so), each age tends to last thousands of years.

Granted, if it does follow Aragorn then we start with the Third Age, but after that, the Fourth Age is the period of peace that comes after the War for the Ring, so I'm not sure if they'll continue after all of that, which I doubt, or end the series there. It'd be interesting to have Sauron's master return, like something along the lines of what the recent games are doing but less... fanfic-y.

Yeah but it's pretty dumb within the context of the movie.

When we see the Uruk's get born we instantly see one brutalize an Orc, showing that they're far superior, massively dangerous foes far stronger than any mortal man. Then the montage of them getting armoured up and their awesome scythe/sickle weapons, these dudes are clearly dangerous as f***.

KO'd by rocks essentially thrown by a small child. It's quite funny really.

I think it'd have been better if Boromir was killed by one of the regular ones rather than the...idk what he'd be, Captain or something among them.

I've seen that they apparently want Ian Mckellen to play Gandalf in it, I'd assume just as small cameo's.
In which case, can you imagine they put Gollum in it but don't get Andy Serkis? That would be pure sin.

I like Andy Serkis' Gollum but he's not the definitive interpretation of that character in my eyes, nor for other LOTR fans.

I don't think they'd be able to pull that off with a more limited budget, though.

Amazon is making the series, so I don't think money is an issue.

Just watched The Death Of Superman.

Great movie, this is what Justice League should have been. Tease Doomsday at the end of BvS then put him in Justice League to show everyone off.

Certainly one of the better animated DC movies though the conclusion to Doomsday was better I think. The "All out" moment in that was much more intense.
Doomsday was much more brutal in this but I prefer his other design.

Still haven't watched Gotham By Gaslight or Batman Ninja yet, can't be bothered for some reason.

How so?

The Clark and Lois melodrama was crap but everything else was good I thought, nice seeing the rest of the League involved.

Didn't like the animation. I thought it was cheap and nasty. That would explain why most of the fight with Doomsday was off screen. We see him take out Hawkman, Green Lantern, Martian Man Hunter and Flash but not Wonder Woman and hardly anything from Cyborg. Then later we finally get to see them fight and it's fine I suppose. And then we're STILL waiting for Superman to show up. When he finally does we barely get any action before it cuts away to another scene somewhere else. And it keeps doing this. Two minutes of Doomsday scrapping with Superman followed by much longer scenes of other people. If I recall correctly there are only about three or four two minutes scenes of Superman in combat with Doomsday, each separated by drawn out reaction scenes from other characters. I found it irritating. I just wanted to see a fight and they kept cutting away.

Why would we need extended fight scenes from the other characters Doomsday can just wreck anyway? Wonder Woman is the only one who had a realistic chance bar non-nerfed Martian Manhunter.

To that end all I thought was dumb was how well Batman done but, he's Batman. Not like they'd kill him off or anything.

The Superman fight was quite short yes but I would have got boring quickly if it wasn't, watching Superman punch something over and over for 15 minutes wouldn't be very exciting, not when the fight is a pretty basic match up of strong vs STRONGERER.
