The Lord of the Dark Posts: 15,357 Group: Member Member #11,968 Joined: January 7, 2015 Gender Male Country Spain	The only bigger threats I can see appearing in the next X-Men movies would be the Dark Phoenix and Onslaught, those two are the only ones left to my knowledge. It would be amazing to have both in the same movie, Onslaught manipulating in some way Jean as Professor X before absorbing her powers and making himself even more powerful as Onslaught. I'd also love to see Onslaught owning Juggernaut like he did in the comics, even if Juggs is less than impressive in the movies. They could retcon it somehow, make him more Hulk like and actually strong. I just rewatched all three Kung Fu Panda movies, and I almost feel like the second one was the most boring, because barely anything happens compared to the other two which is constantly action. I also feel like Tai Lung and Kai are the only big threats in that series, Lord Shen's just menacing because of his army and cannons, but nothing else. And then I rewatched Godzilla VS Megalon with all the Zaibatsu, it was great. Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Yeah I feel like they should give the Dark Phoenix saga another go because X-Men 3 was terrible for the most part and they need to get it out of the way, otherwise there's no excuse for not letting Jean end every fight with it. Wonder if they're going to go back to present day or just stay in that era for now. I don't mind either way but I do prefer the actors for the 70's 80's era. Aside from Patrick Stewart but James McAvoy is awesome enough. Probably going to watch the new Independence Day tonight, heard it's pretty meh. Like basically no different from the first movie. I'm just interested to see what kind of BS has humans winning in the end, unless they don't which would be awesome but it's a movie so we probably win. Aliens are allergic to methane gas so we beat them with farts, why not.

There's only one thing I thought was legitimately cool about it, but I won't spoil it. Also me and my friend were just making cool concepts throughout the movie, that we were hoping would appear in the movie, like the massive ship turning into a robot.

I'm enjoying seeing people go crazy over this Great Wall movie. For "Whitewashing" since Matt Damon is in it as a lead and it features the Great Wall of China so of course everyone in the movie should be Chinese because it's in the past, my God how can Hollywood do this! Chinese movie, Chinese director and everything, they picked Matt there's also other Asian leads. It's also a fantasy movie, given that there are monsters in it so clearly the people moaning never even watched the trailer. It's a pretty cool collaboration between China and America but everyone needs to get offended instead. Not that I think the movie looks that good first trailer for is...eh: I can see why people would assume it might be a "white knight saves the day" kind of thing but it seems pretty clear that Matt Damon is just to get Western audiences interested, since barely any of us know who those Asian actors are even though they're very popular over there. Chinese trailers won't all be about him, different things draw different cultures.

Independence Day was...okay I guess. I'm so over cheesy action flicks though, does every movie need to cram as many cliché's in as possible? Especially tired of the whole "heroes race towards a closing gap...will they make it!?" thing. Because yes. Always. So what's the point in putting that in a movie now? Okay movie though, didn't really do anything special. The only things that caught me off guard were: Spoiler: click to toggle The Queen and her freaking huge organic mech suit thing, that was cool. And the sphere thing being an intelligent AI thingy. I thought it was going to be a bomb or something nice aliens conveniently gave the humans. Why the f*** does Britain always get destroyed in American movies? It's like always one of the first to go if countries are being annihilated by something.

Disney REALLY dropped the ball with their Quicksilver. Wonder if Warner Bros will do anything cool with The Flash? After Quicksilver's scene they'll probably want to but hopefully they don't totally rip it off. I want to see him dodging some crazy s*** like lightning bolts or whatever. And hopefully he isn't a super nerfed version like the TV show.

From what I saw he seems to be on the same level as the DCAU Flash. Obviously they won't have him being fast enough to outrun teleportation or stuff like that. He has to be nerfed because he is seriously OP, like, he could beat any of the other JL members if he went rogue.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Well I'm not even past S1 of The Flash but I'm pretty sure his max speed was like 700mph in that. I think he's got a lot faster since then but he's definitely nowhere near as fast as his comic book counterpart. I still need to continue watching that, it and Arrow. Don't care much for Supergirl and haven't tried Legends of Tomorrow but I don't hear good things about it. Might watch The Killing Joke tonight. Apparently the animation is pretty whack. DC animated movies are usually pretty good.

I thought it was going to be some graphic sort of thing people didn't want to see but it's just Spoiler: click to toggle Batman and Batgirl have sex and that's "out of character" despite the obvious tension between them. Sometimes people get mad at each other and they end up having sex...why do people need to get offended over that? Even couples who have split up often have sex like when one is coming to collect their stuff. Dumb reason for controversy. I was expecting bewbz. Anyway movie is good so far, animation seems fine to me. Seen better but it's not like it's terrible.
