It was an assumption.

It's hard to see Dumbo without his mouse friend, after all.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Holy s*** the CG on Dumbo.

I used to love that film as a kid, I would literally watch it several times a day...somehow I don't remember it but it still stirs up some nostalgia to see this.
Hope it's good...

I'm needing a really "big" movie to come out, it's been so many years since a movie thrilled me like Inception. Not necessarily something action packed but intense and unique.
There's nothing that's made me think "This is what movies were made for"

Also we watched Pet Sematary the other day...that movie is horrifying. And funny. But horrifying. But funny. Can't decide.

The Incredibles 2 is apparently very good. I wasn't very big on the first movie, so I'm sure I'll like it less than most.

Like it's good but doesn't really do anything new just takes a standard movie concept and applies it to Incredibles.

Anything for more Elastagirl though, damn...!

Kinda weird how we go crazy over sexual imagery being in games, that are designed for adults because what if the children see them and become sex pests?
And then you have animated characters like Elastagirl in kids movies that lead to alllll sorts of fantasies when you're a horny teenage boy...

I don't know where you get your reviews from, Steve, but please cut them out.

...Why would he? Maybe he's listening to the opinions of reviewers he likes, and what's wrong with that?

Because according to the general opinion of the movie, it's completely wrong.

Steve, from what I've seen, rarely goes with 'general opinions'. He was simply saying he'd heard otherwise to what I had heard.

Because according to the general opinion of the movie, it's completely wrong.
Rotten Tomatoes gave Ghostbusters 2016 a 74% IIRC.

I never hold the rating given on any review site with anything other than a grain of salt because s***ty movies will get 10/10 and amazing movies will get overlooked because they're not popular. Much the same as video games.

Oh and for reference RT also gave Interstellar 71%.
We live in a world where Ghostbusters got a better score than Interstellar, holy s*** I didn't even know that one.

Anyway people have a habit of giving anything hyped up an amazing score, I'm sure it's a great movie but as it's been described it sounds pretty regular, taking tropes from many other movies like the "Parent who doesn't normally look after the kids, usually dad has to look after them, hilarity ensues" plotline. Nothing all that unique about that.

Not compared to the first movie which was pretty exceptional and quite grim for a kids movie.

According to RT Ghostbusters 2016 is also better than Forrest Gump...that's just depressing.
The Revenant is also only an 80%. I think the point has been made, though I'm curious what movies that site says aren't as good as Ghostusters or what horrible movies it says are brilliant.

8/10 is a brilliant score for a movie like The Revenant. It's a good movie, but not a masterpiece. It's far from being in The Godfather and Shawshank Redemption's class. Interstellar also wasn't a fantastic movie.

Maybe a bit harsh of me to tell you to "cut that out".
