They ruined Korg...

I am sad.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Maybe it's just me, but Korg was one of my favourite parts of the movie. Nearly every line he hit was both well-timed and hilarious (he was played by Waititi himself so not surprised much there)

Like I said, I recommend seeing it. It's probably the most "comic-book like" movie to be released since the first avengers movie. It's action-packed, it's weird, it's funny, it's serious when it needs to be (there's a particular scene involving Odin where everything is played straight). And Hela is awesome ( not only one of the most impressive CBM villains to date in terms of power, but also personality I'd say).

Sorry, the reason it probably resonates with me so much is probably cause I wanted a comic book movie that truly gave that "fun" feeling. It's a comic book movie and it embraces that to its core. Some might compare it to guardians and to that I'd say, while I loved guardians for what it was, there were a couple of jokes that felt forced (especially in volume 2). I can't say the same in regards to Thor 3, most of the jokes that was in it, actually felt natural

It's a Taika Waititi film, and it shows throughout the movie in the balance that he strikes

Yeah, I heard the same about Spider-Man Homecoming and I thought that was hardly any better than some of the lamer Spider-Man movies, if at all.

I did find Korg really funny, but he's not supposed to be. That was my problem with him. He's supposed to be from this bad a*** warrior race of rock people who have tried many times to conquer the Earth. They are pretty serious dudes.

Secondly, the grandmaster played by Jeff Goldblum. The character is supposed to be a powerful deity. He's big, he's blue and he should know everything about the universe. He's not a sleazy pimp like he was in the film. Oh yeah and he can bring people back from the dead.

Of course, nothing is gonna be as good if you compare it to the comics. Save yourself some pain and consider it different media.

I don't normally mind but they way they did it was rubbish. It's way cooler to have a giant blue God than whatever Jeff Goldblum was playing. I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting less comedy as well.

Let's hope the DCEU keeps going strong, because Wonder Woman was brilliant.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I just hate the rhetoric that "The MCU makes lots of money...that means it's better!"

How many Oscars do the movies get though...

Earning money is never a surefire sign of supreme quality, it's a sign of the highest accessibility and basically nothing else.

I really hope Justice League has been put together well, hopefully it knocks it out of the park and maybe Disney will take a look at the MCU and reconsider how they run the movies.
I was extremely excited for Infinity War years back but now I can only imagine Thanos as being this annoying douche that just makes fun out of everyone rather than this threatening dominator of the universe/galaxy.

For the record, I believe DC/WB has three Oscars total.

Best Supporting Actor-Heath Ledger-TDK

Best Sound Editing-TDK

Best Costume and Makeup- Suicide Squad.

Well those aren't part of the same movie universe, Batman ones that is.
It'd be cool if they tied them together somehow not that the Dark Knight stuff really fits in.

Still sad about the "I think we're destined to do this forever" line from Joker...y u do dis.

Wonder what the villain will be like in Justice League, I know next to nothing about him. Ares was pretty cool, moustache was a touch silly.

Hopefully we get a look at Darkseid as well, wonder if they'll make him a big CGI dude or if it'll just be a regular sized person. Hopefully they go for his usual sort of design.

Did you see the infinity war trailer from comic on months ag? (Leaked, but still)

The trailer is completely played straight and shows just how much of a threat thanos (heck, the guy is a bloody powerhouse XD)
Anyways, I hope that JL does good

DC movies have disappointed me for the most part (Wonder Woman aside). I have faith in it, but I probably won't end up seeing it in theaters
