Anyone feels like regardless of the company and BGM...DB really overall never had "good" music? It's not bad by any means and easily iconic. But just seems like something you can't enjoy as it's own thing and is something you can respect if you're watching the show. I know many people love DB music but...I wonder on its own..what's the appeal? |

It's catchy and has a ton of atmosphere. |

Which version are ya saying? Falconer's or Yamamoto's? I find both to be hilarious, in a bad way. Music in Kai, Kai 2.0 & Supa is just trash, plagued by scandals & whatnot Original JPN Version DB & Z by Shunsuke Kikuchi is the real deal I've watched some musically "epic" shows like DN, FMAB, HXH 2011 etc, but DragonBall's music is in a league of its own. Every fabric of epic, orchestral composition with soul. |

I listen to quite a few opening theme songs by themself- Cha La, Dan Dan, Dragon Soul etc. While I think GT has the best soundtrack in the franchise I actually don't really listen to anything from it by itself (other than the theme). In fact I think the Funi dub has the best music for that. |

I love the music from DBZ. I usually listen to a range of songs from the show and games on most days, I have favourites from both dubs as both the soundtracks are incredibly awesome. |

I honestly think DB had the best soundtrack. It matched the actual animation the best. |

Im more into the Dub music. Since i guess i watched the show on Toonami and had the Faulconer music. Though i have listened to the Japanese music. Good stuff as well, almost as good for me. Overall DB had an amazing soundtrack and the music fit well with the scenes like others said. Edited by Doflamingo, Nov 10 2015, 09:05 PM.

I do like the music. Sure, it's not One Piece's or Naruto's level of music quality, but it does catch the essence of Dragon Ball well. If I had to choose the best soundtracks, It's definitely Kai. |

Kai definitely had the most killer tracks whether it was Yamamoto or Sumitomo. |

It's all preference, much like it is with anything else. i personally love all the music I've hears from DB, DBZ, and even some of GT. Everyone hears these themes differently. I agree with Darker and Emmeth, that song in the video is indeed a classic!
