How often do you think our differing opinions concerning multipliers affects our opinions of characters; should we include our perspectives of certain multipliers when discussing opposing views?

For instance, (hypothetically or not) I hold an unpopular view and I cannot understand why people oppose it so vehemently; however, I realize that a Super Saya-Jin 2 is involved and I can suddenly understand why so many people can easily enough dismiss my view.

Multipliers are a piece of the puzzle when it comes to people accepting Gotenks as a god to Goku.

That's a damned good point.

Also Piccolo and Base Saiyans; people don't like Piccolo 50- or even 10x weaker than Super Saiya-Jins.

May I ask what makes your SSJ2 opinion unpopular?

As for your question, yes IMO. People debate passionately about SEG's validity and all the Fusion multiplier jizz so it does matter more times than not.

I follow a line of thinking that tries to rationalise the notion of Super Saiyan being a 50x multiplier in that it is considered to the legendary pinnacle of Saiyan mythos. Why it should fall firmly into alignment with the canonically established multiplier of ten times that Oozaru yields makes no sense given the context of the transformation. Now the future transformations are more debatable. To my knowledge, there really is no set multiplier implied or established for SSJ2 and SSJ3. All we have to rely on is the SEG's estimates for any specifics.

As for Piccolo - well you're entitled to your beliefs. I've personally noticed that proponents of Piccolo being inferior to the Base Saiyans will often cite him as being either equal to or just greater than Imperfect Cell and #16. Of course, I don't see how that's possible since he should have been reduced to nothing almost immediately by the Cell Jrs were it true. Do you believe that the Saiyans gains over the 7 year timeskip were enough to place their Base forms above Piccolo? No matter how you look at it, that's a pretty radical shift in power considering how he was still comparable to some degree with the Super Saiyans just seven years earlier.

No.

But it has to do with an unliked character and his fight.

I actually have a few unpopular opinions now that I think of it. Example: if Son Goku was able to power up in an untrained SSJ3 form, should he not be able to power up in SSJ2?

I've earnestly come across members who use as low a SSJ factor as 2 in Boo Saga. The problem lies in not telling others while argues; how am I supposed to know that someone's basing their viewpoint on sliding SSJ additives or multipliers?

I am not a fan of multipliers.... I believe in the gaps between them. Also we dont know anything about fusion and its multipliers.

I mean maybe it is totally different for Gotenks than it was for Goku.

It does seem that fusion requires a different boost. There doesn't seem to be a good reason to change the 50x boost anytime prior to fusion.

A fusion without a doubt is not using a 50x boost, unless you want to accept some very hard to swallow things.
