How much stronger was pre rosat ssj gotenks than ssj3 goku? Using the 50x multiplier makes him a lot stronger since we have base gotenks around ssj2 goku level. That doesn't go well with piccolo wondering about his speed though. If he was that much stronger piccolo wouldn't have questioned how fast he is Is this a legit reason to say fusion lowers the ssj multiplier? Edited by Ssj3vegito96, Nov 3 2015, 12:59 AM.

He can still be higher than Super-Saiyan 2 Goku in Base, Piccolo could have just wanted to confirm that Gotenks is good enough through seeing his movements. They were after-all going to fight Boo, no need in rushing into the fight. But it doesn't have to be that way. Gotenks can still be weaker. |

Considering Toriyama originally thought the SSJ amp should be 10x against Freeza (we know why that's foolish) I doubt anywhere in Toriyama's mind he was thinking of numbers or the specific gap between Gotenks and Goku. |

He wasn't stronger IMO. He was strong enough to make Piccolo think he'd stand a chance against Boo, though, so I'd say he's certainly close to as strong as Super Saiyan 3 Goku. |

Goku said Gotenks would be stronger than him, and Piccolo never contradicts that. ''Well, you're not as strong as Goku said, but you're plenty strong enough to deal with Boo. Now, let's see your speed.'' That statement would've easily told us that Goku > Gotenks > Boo, yet nothing of the sort exists. |

I don't think Base Gotenks pre needs to be stronger than SS2 Goku or Vegeta, personally. So while I have pre-RoSaT Gotenks a good deal superior to SS3 Goku (SS Gotenks > expected Boo >/>~ SS3 Goku), I don't have him multi-folds stronger. Base Gotenks: 14.4 SS2 Goku: 120 actual Fat Boo: 400 SS3 Goku: 480 expected Fat Boo: 540 SS Gotenks (pre): 720 Something like that. |

I don't think Super Saiyan 1 Gotenks ever was stronger than SS3 Goku, before or after the former used the Room of Spirit and Time. I think SS2 Gotenks would be about equal with him, and his own Super Saiyan 3 was what let him pull ahead.

I have him Pre and Post SSJ1 Stronger than SSJ3 Goku. However, in his base, I have him nowhere in SSJ3 Goku's area. |

SSj Gotenks has to be stronger than SSj3 Goku, Goku never planned on Gotenks using the time chamber or going above Super Saiyan. |

I did some quick numbers with gotenks having a ssj multiplier of 10x. Worked out pretty well. I'm just going with fusion for whatever reason lowers the ssj multiplier |

Now that, I can agree Base Gotenks post-RoSaT > SSJ3 Goku. It doesn't make sense that Gotenks gets 50x stronger just by a 2 weeks training. |

How does that work out? Goku doubted Gohan's chances against Boo, but was perfectly confident in Gotenks' chances to beat the same Boo. They can't be equal unless you have Gohan stronger than Boo as well. |
