Firefox Favourite Manga Dragon Ball, Fullmetal Alchemist, Assassination Classroom, Deadman Wonderland	We all know the statement that Toriyama said about forgetting to draw Saiyan tails later, however, I came across this translated question on Kanzenshuu recently, which gives evidence to him simply just not wanting to draw them anymore: Quote: Is it true that Goku's tail was a nuisance?! Toriyama: It's true. (laughs) Goku was originally an actual monkey in the initial sketches, after all. My editor told me, "Without a tail, he has no distinguishing traits," so I added a tail. That tail I added was such a nuisance when I was drawing, I couldn't stand it... so I immediately thought up an episode where his tail gets cut off. (laughs) -- (ref: Full Color Comics: Freeza Arc. Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	It's the same kind of reasoning that motivated Toriyama to create Super Saiyan in the first place. Just imagine if his sentiments were the opposite. The Saiyans might continue to have their tails and SSJ form wouldn't exist, at least not in its current state.

No idea why he ditched the old belt in favor of sash one. I think that Goku becoming Super Saiyan kind of gave him the mindset that he was his own master, explaining why he no longer used the Kanji. The Obi sash could've been because it might've been easier or quicker to draw. He even goes about training others. However, he reuses the kanji in the new movies and in Super. Nothin Favourite Manga Nothin	Its quite bizzare to see why Goten & Trunks had no tail In Bio-Broly, once Goten pointed towards Broly'a Capsule & said it has "tail", Trunks replied "just like a Saiyajin huh" Which makes me wonder why da f*** Goten & Trunks never had tail, yet knew about Saiyans & tails thin Its possible that both got their tail cut-off to prevent unnecesarry Oozaru transformation during full moon
