Back when Vegeta was still ruthless and fairly evil and selfish and loved showing off his power. The Vegeta that fought Golden frieza wasn't so concerned with gloating and didn't have the hatred he once had for frieza. After what frieza did to vegeta i would have loved for Vegeta to exact his revenge. thoughts?

Toriyama stated that he wanted Vegeta to play the main role in the next movie as of February of 2014. At that point, BoG was already out for nearly a year, so this would've had to have referenced RoF. "As for Vegeta, in the event that there’s talk of another animated film, then next time, I’d like him to play the main role. (Of course, this is nothing more than intentions, and I haven’t decided anything at all.)" http://www.kanzenshuu.com/2014/02/02/march-2014-saikyo-jump-toriyama-q-a/ I'm not sure if Toriyama had a change of heart at some point, whether TOEI convinced him otherwise, or based on reviews, Vegeta wasn't as popular as Goku is in Japan. I personally wished that Vegeta would've been the one to finish off Frieza. It would've been amazing to see a flashback of the conflict between Frieza and Vegeta back on Namek right before Vegeta would end Frieza. Talk about a counter-revenge! If we do indeed get a third movie as rumored (which we should because BoG and RoF made so much money), then I truly hope Vegeta is going to play the main role without any interruptions. We will also see how Dragon Ball Super unfolds. It's definitely possible that Vegeta is going to be the main protagonist since his spotlight was stolen in RoF.
