Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Garp or Roger for sure. Garp is the only one said to be able to stalemate Roger...pretty much ever I think. Though, depends on if Roger has a Devil Fruit power or not Whitebeard might be able to mess him up by flipping an island they were on, Garp has the massive advantage of being able to swim. Yeah gonna go with Garp here.

Yeah gonna go with Garp here. But after Rogers death, Whitebeard was crowned worlds strongest not Garp, Yes Garp was cornering Roger multiple times but every one had Whitebeard as the equal of Roger. Shiki usually gets underestimated because of Strong World, it aint even cannon. In chapter 0 he fought both Garp and Sen Goku. SenGokus Mythical Zoan is crazy strong and he is usually implied to be around Garp Just saying even with the multiple high ranking officers, despite being sicker from old age than Garp and Goku, Sen Goku still said there was a high chance that Newgate would win showing that he thought Newgate as his superior. I have Roger=Whitebeard>=Garp>=Sengoku=Shiki

Garp is supposed to rival Whitebeard and Roger. These 3 mens are in their own league. Sengoku is not too far from them. and Shiki, while strong, doesn't compare to the like of them.He's essentially what Don Krieg would have been if he was strong.His main strength was his large crew. Roger:100 Primebeard:99 Garp:98 Sengoku:94 Whitebeard:92 Old Garp:91 Shiki:87 Average Admiral:85

His Devil Fruit power definitely makes him one of the most dangerous characters in the series for sure but it's much much muuuuch less effective against people without Devil Fruit powers. If he flipped an island for instance he's taking out every Devil Fruit user including himself but someone like Garp and possibly Roger, or anyone who can fly would be fine. Sure seems to me like he's rated most powerful for what his ability can do not what he can do personally, Garp would probably do well against him since he's no doubt extremely proficient with Haki. Unless he has a DF power we don't know about he'd have to be in order to be such a big hitter in the series.

Idk man i dont really think hes overated, guys like Buggy,Shiki and even Sengoku have had him as the man who held the seas together after rogers death. Roger himself seen Newgate as his rival as he had a drink with him before his sacrifice and Whitebeard wasnt really looking to be the Pirate king he just wanted a family while Roger wanted to roam the seas freely.Garp is no doubt the physically strongest guy of the Big 5 (The guy destroyed 8 Mountains as if they were punching bags). I think were sleeping on Shiki he fought both Garp and Sengoku and was often speculated to be the Roger for Sengoku. Lets look at it this way .Whitebeared most likley has the most destructive power of the big 5, his quakes can be felt from different seas in the world and was said to have the power to destroy the world by Sengoku .Garp hits the hardest as he is a very casual mountain buster .Shiki is a very good master planner, Most likley the best tactician of the big 5 as whitebeared himself knew how much of problem shiki was when he was plotting something not to mention he must be a very good fighter to go up against Garp and Sengoku. .Sengoku seems like a balance between Garp and Shiki just not being as strong as Garp (The margin being very small) and not a better battle strategist the Shiki. .Roger only has hype going for him, the only thing we really know about him was that he was Newgate and Garps equal.

He is fast enough to do a sneak attack on an admiral, and he's a 5 meter man, sick and affected by old age and inactivity.(he should be very noticeable.) His Haki negates the haki of Akainu, who is an admiral and one of the strongest marines.(the admirals have one of the strongest hakis in the OP Verse.) and he has insane durability: -Even though he's sick and old age handicapped him, he is able to beat an admiral while having a hole in his chest(thanks to magma) and half of his face missing, and to make Blackbeard beg for his life(he would have killed him if it wasn't for BB's crew interfering.) "Even in death, his body did not fall. His figure, taking down enemies while losing half of his head, was truly monstrous. The total number of sword wounds he received in this battle was 267. He was shot by 152 bullets and was hit by 46 cannonballs. And despite all this, his proud back, over the course of his entire life as a pirate, never received a single scar from running away!"
