![]() Vs ![]() First round is in the sewers of Gotham City Second round is the Forest of Death from Naruto Third round is Times Square, Ruby gets a bit of time to familiarize herself with the place before the match begins, activity will be normal at beginning of match and develop from there, that includes a police response, this police force doesn't trust either participant. Round four, same as three but no police response Fight until the other is no longer able to put up meaningful resistance. Which of our agile actors shall accomplish their goal? |

Even if it's the movie Spider-Man, he's far faster. His trick on the stairs shows that he can react faster than electricity can transmit up metal. Not just react faster, have an entire plan ready to save the people from the electricity. Her weapon is devastating and can deal terrible wounds, but Spidey has the perfect counter to weapons; his webbing. That webbing is going to absolutely ruin her offensive abilities by gumming up the workings of her scythe and even sticking it to her own body.

True, he is quite a bit faster, but it alloys be noted that while Ruby is usually slower, when using her semblance she is faster, appearing to teleport actually, mind you in RWBY it shows most if not all people moving, at least a blur (discounting a visual gag), like Cinder Fall, who is seemingly able to sneak past a guard... By moving in front of him quickly to another piece of cover. not only that but there is shown to be absolutely no cover, so she essentially went so fast that the guard could not see her. Ruby doesn't even get that kind of blur. While Spider-Man might still be able to perceive her, Electro was able to tag him multiple times using the... Dub step attack I suppose, Ruby can try at something similar, essentially query her semblance, she also did something similar her fight against the torchwick Mech, though it was much more methodical, back and forth rather than how Electro did it. In addition while Spider-Man is pretty fast, he has occasionally skipped up, such as when he got tagged by a bullet during the first movie. That's definitely gonna work against him in round three. In addition he did physically get hit by the likes of the Lizard and such, though admittedly not often (discounting when he gets grabbed after trying to kick our web zip him, because that's probably working a bit better on Ruby). It should be noted that even if Spider-Man ends it, she can still just hit him with the blunt side, in fact that is what she does allot against mooks, though yes, if she gets badly webbed its curtains. Granted I still think Spidy can pull out a win, but I think they're really close, 6-4. Edited by Tinny, Oct 26 2015, 02:08 AM.

Flashstepping doesn't require the absurd amount of speed needed to process lightning coming up railing, come up with a plan, and then save the civilians. This little scene is just a massively good showing for Spider-Man, considering how fast electricity is.
During the first fight, he was tagged because Electro's powerset is rather unorthodox. Once he had a grip on his powers, he didn't get hit again until Electro started doing the tele-punch thing. Ruby cannot mimic that, given how Electro was both invisible and traveling at the speed of electricity when he did the tele-punch spam.
He was distracted with saving Gwen and he was not fully used to his powers. By the time of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, his speed is way above that. Besides, round three has them both in character, so neither is going to be aiming for civilians anyway
That's a testament to Lizard being extremely fast. In the first fight, Peter was caught offguard. In the second fight, he was still trying to reach out to Connors, but once he got serious, blitzed Lizard and cocooned him. Third round, he was shot.
Considering the fact that he was still capable of fighting after having to catch a thrown car, I think he can handle the blunt trauma. He'll probably web the scythe to her body anyway, if his MO is anything like it was when he was fighting Lizard(that is to say spamming webbing) Edited by lazerbem, Oct 26 2015, 02:35 AM.

Spidey can easily blitz her and dodge her attacks if he doesn't. He's also strong enough to knock her out with a punch so there's that. |
Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |
