More cartoon feats, eh? Ugh... I don't really want to go watch 90s TAS Vulture... He was awful beyond belief... But I'll probably do it just because. Just wait until I get better, I'm sick at the moment. Edit: Forgot to mention Vulture's badassery. Edited by Darker, Oct 12 2015, 10:09 PM.

90's Vulture was horrific, but Spectacular Vulture was pretty good. I'm a fan of the red and black color scheme personally(though the dark green used in the Daredevil scans is also really good). Ultimate Vulture is more like James Natale than anything else, really. Edited by lazerbem, Oct 12 2015, 10:31 PM.

Spectacular Vulture was a thousand times better, anyone can agree with that, although he didn't really do much, which I always disliked. He didn't really stood out like the other villains. Even Rhino was more memorable than him, what's up with that? *Rhino throws what I assume is a Beetle car at Spidey* Rhino: A bug for a bug! Sandman: Yeah, I got that, for you, that was clever! Rhino: Thanks. Meanwhile Vulture was more like: Doc Ock: Hey, Toomes, do this. Vulture: Okay. Doc Ock: Hey, Toomes, also do this other thing I tell you to do. Vulture: ...Okay. But yeah, red and black color scheme is quite menacing on him(and at least you could argue some vultures do have those colors in them). I'm more familiar with the green suit, but it's not as fitting. Besides there's already way too much green in Spidey's rogues gallery. ![]() It's a bit bland, though. Why wouldn't they stick with the one from Web of Shadows? That one is probably my favourite Vulture costume. ![]() I mean come on, he uses his wings as sword blades, how cool is that? Edited by Darker, Oct 12 2015, 10:42 PM.

Web of Shadows Vulture was also a really good design for him. Natale Vulture's design is...interesting. I don't know why he has mandibles, but the barfing thing is something real vultures do, so there is some sense to it. I'm just going to call Ultimate Cartoon Vulture Natale, since he resembles that one the most(biologically engineered, memory loss, oral weapons), and in that respect, comics Natale does look better. |

Natale's design is quite interesting indeed. I have to say I found him ridiculous when I first saw him because of that scarf or whatever he has around his head. Worst Vulture, though? Ultimate Spider-Man one. Haven't watched him, but the writing on this show is bad enough to make me hate him already. And that design is literally the worst. ![]() Did I say the worst? Let me correct myself, the one from Spider-Man Unlimited is without a doubt the worst Vulture I've ever seen.

Ultimate Spider-Man Vulture is an emo basically. He's lost all of his memories and is a person who was mutated by Doc Ock. He can change between Vulture form and angsty teen mode at the drop of a hat. |

Btw, do you want feats from Toomes only, or feats from other Vultures? |

Given that my computer is being a dick right now and has decided to not let me work, I've only been able to collect some of the few feats from Spectacular Spider-Man. Still, this is the only animated incarnation with good ol' Adrian Toomes(and not the energy-sucking one) so I believe it's more fitting for this thread to be based around the original Vulture. Spectacular Spider-Man Vulture ![]() Retractable claws on his boots. These claws can stick to people from the looks of it. They're also strong enough to cut through metal. His wings can also cut through metal. He can stop in mid-air. ...All thanks to this engine which kept him airborn. The first time Spidey and Vulture meet, Spidey destroyed the engine with a single punch. The next time they faced off the entire armor was rebuilt as reinforced steel armor, which not even Symbiote Spider-Man was able to break with a punch like before. He can punch through glass without injuring himself. When going at max speed, everything around him becomes a blur. According to my bad estimations, he can go past a city block, which is probably between 100-250 meters) in 2 seconds: so, over 100 mph or nearly 300 mph. His most impressive feat was when Spidey trapped him on top of a Christmas tree with webbing, Electro accidentally shot him with some electricity, setting the tree on fire, which fell down with him essentially crushing him, yet Captain Stacy and the rest of the police department who were moving the tree still stated that Vulture would be a threat once they got the tree out of the way. And for the record, the tree was massive, around 50 or 60 ft tall. |

He had one other feat, that being that he blocked some shots from Hammerhead's futuristic machine gun with his wing, though some eventually got through and knocked him out(rather impressively not killing him). ![]() Also, that speed estimate seems fine, since he was moving faster than the chopper that Montana was driving Edited by lazerbem, Oct 13 2015, 07:34 PM.

Huh. Weird. I was searching through his appearances on the Spectacular Spider-Man episodes list on Wikipedia and I don't remember that being an episode... Where does he actually fight Hammerhead, though? |

It was in Gangland. Right after Hammer Head poisons Sable, Toomes freaks out and unsheathes his wings. Hammerhead pulls out a gun that looks like a Thompson, but obviously isn't due to the green energy gauge, the sound, and the ammo being used. Vulture flies up and blocks a few of the shots, it cuts to Hammerhead just continuing to hold the trigger, the very next cut is to Vulture spinning out of control and into a wall before slumping to the ground(presumably unconscious) |
