I'm not doubting they would lose mentally, but I don't think it would work unless Galactus could keep up visually and energy wise.

Galactus can easily stay on their level, with one of his fingers, that is. Considering he, as a force of nature and destruction necessary for the Universe, he needs to stay within it and keep on devouring planets maintaining its balance. So, he's noy dying unless plot demands it. He's never truly died, and I recall it being stated that he can't as long as he's necessary for his dimension.

I mean, even if by some miracle(or plot) he didn't have his immortality, Gogetto's blows still wouldn't work. Even if you say Goku alone is able to destroy the Universe, Galactus was still able to survive the Big Bang without having the Power Cosmic, which is what turned him into Galactus in the first place, boosting his powers infinitely.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Even if he survives it though, he still gonna feel that kinetic energy regardless. It's not like Goku punch like a school girl or something. And for the sake of simplicity, he either can die just for a possible outcome or get knocked unconscious.

What's a big bang compared to the destruction of the after life kaoishin realm and mortal universe

I would just like to point out that in the few times Galactus has died, Abraxas is unleashed and he tends to destroy universes/dimensions like they ain't nothing.

This. I honestly don't know. How does destroying the universe and the supreme Kai realm(which is the size of 1/5th of the universe) compare to the Big Bang?

Doesn't Galactus' origin involve the misconception that the Big Bang was literally an explosion?

Right so...fictionally speaking, how powerful is the big bang? I'm assuming they mean an explosion the size of the universe or something

In that case, a universal level attack knocked Galactus unconscious for millions of years until he went hungry.

When does galactus actually withstand a Big Bang? Did that really happen? Idk much about him and I'm reading up a bit right now and he was a normal guy I guess before the Big Bang happened and then when the Big Bang happened he was saved by the Phoenix force? Gotta read some more but does that sound right?

Technically he tanked it when he wasn't Galactus yet even.

Well considering Goku can just sense the kais on in their afterlife and just IT there, I'm not sure it's that far behind. Besides, this is before he became Galactus and gained the power cosmic so... The foe you're facing is allot tougher than that.

Doesn't mean it isn't a separate realm from the actual universe, if Beerus is able to get there along with Whis then its probably a border thing at minimum. But don't forget this included the Kaioshin realm as well and that's place is 1/5th size of the universe.
