Anyone know whether you can find the Weekly-Shonen-Jump #51 (1984)?

Anyone know whether it's being sold somewhere?

Not that I'm going to buy, just want to know whether you can find it on the internet.

Nah, that's Issue #51 from 2014. I'm asking from 1984, where the 1st chapter of DragonBall was published.

I don't think you'll have much luck. If you're lucky enough to find it somewhere, you'll be paying a lot for it, and you'll probably need to speak Japanese (to communicate with the seller).
I love building PCs. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask. I can help you with almost any kind of PC you'd want to build.

Some people seemed to have been lucky enough to have it. I saw one when I GooGle'd, but yeah obviously is rare, probably.

Too hard to find.

When you buy though you could use GooGle translator or something or you'd have to hope they can talk English.

It's so rare, even the Kanzenshuu crew hasn't gotten one, despite repeated attempts.

Is it rare or too expensive (when they do find it)?

I'd assume they saw some, but they were too expensive.

It gets even more difficult if you want to track down a copy of Weekly Shonen Jump's 1984 #51 issue, which contained the first chapter of Dragon Ball from its original serialization. It's not that it's hard to identify the issue, but rather people know what they have when they have it! It goes for a pretty penny. We've (Kanzenshuu) been trying to track down our own for a bit of time at a reasonable price, and it's not a very fruitful search. It can be done, but you'll be paying for it. I don't actually see any on Yahoo! Japan Auctions right now

Seems like they did find, but it was too expensive for them.

It's kind-of sad though, because some of the others you can find kind-of easily. Like I just went some through E-Bay, and saw some issues from the Freeza Saga & Cell Saga for 17£ or so, and early DragonBall too I think.
