Overall I'm a English dub fan. When some of saiyans talk in Japanese they sound like girls but I will admit that when they start to raise their voices I always thought it was awesome. Like when trunks yells "Frieza!" Or when theyre powering up it sounds just as good and sometimes better than the English |

Considering about 90% of said "Saiyans" are literally voiced by the same woman. I just don't care for the Japanese voices, especially Nozawa. While I recognize her as a good Seiyuu, along with the rest I probably have become adapted too much to the English Dub. It doesn't help that until now, the sound quality back then was absolutely horrible. No matter how good the actors might be, it doesn't help when you're sound quality sounds like it comes from a broken stereo. It's not just Dragon Ball either. You try watching an episode of the old Fist of the North Star anime and its likes nails on a chalkboard. Luckily not only have sound quality improved vastly but one would even say so as the voice acting, both Japanese and English. Not to mention thanks to the power of SCIENCE!!! More people are become better aware of the original material. |

Eng Dub fans tend to glorify the girly voices of Goku, Gohan etc But blindfolded when it comes to Funi's 50 year old chain-smoker granny voice of Frieza. I'd say I was a Japanese Voice Hater. I infact even trolled the voices & its soap-opera music Now, I've grown to appreciate it. It just requires a decent amount of exposure. Talented seiyuu's like Nozawa (Goku), Ryo (Veggie), Norio Wakamoto (Cell), Toshio Furukawa (Piccolo), Kuzuo Shioya (Majin Buu) and over 100+ voice actors (DB~Z~GT) bring their unique & grounded acting with such panache |

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |

I like more than the english dub voices. Some VAs also undoubtedly did greater than the english dub voices. Like for sure. Without a doubt. |

The Japanese voices are better, period. Long exposure to Nozawa really does work wonders. You'll grow to appreciate her, like I have. Sean's Goku ain't bad, but I don't even think he holds a candle to Nozawa anymore. |

When you get five characters that sound the same and all violate the eardrums upon powering up, I'm still not convinced |

They don't sound the same. If you listen, then you can hear that there are differences between their voices. |

Goten, Gohan, and Goku sound nothing alike in JPN. Except maybe screams. |

It took me a while to get used to the Japanese dub, but I find it infinitely better than the English dub after getting used to it. I can't stand the English dub mainly because of the cheesy voice acting and inaccurate script personally. |

It's high pitched squeaking that brings to mind Call of Duty kids with the microphone on. There are some individual differences, and that's definitely respectable, but in the end, they have the Call of Duty squeaker syndrome going on. This is even more glaring with Bardock and Tullece |
