Have you ever though of concepting your own anime/manga? Here's my idea for a manga... Overall plot outline: A race named the Geon-jin and the humans had once lived together in harmony in a city named Cirta but as humanoid creatures commonly referred to as "Tape-Men" attacked, the Geon-jin were blamed for the attack. The Geon-jin, outcasted by the humans, and their small village are now under attack by the "Tape-Men". One Geon-jin by the name of Geo rises up to not only put an end to the carnage but to restore honor to his people all while trying to keep to his moral code and with the help of like-minded allies. As they progress, more and more pieces to the mystery behind the "Tape-Man" are revealed. |

I've had a concept for a gag manga, but it put alot of strain to my mind. Which made me realize making a shounen manga is much easier to gags. All u need is some likable characters with cliched backstory ala Bleach & Naruto with some artistic drawings when it comes to fights like A.Toriyama (Namek Arc) |

I have this big story in my head, would basically be a Shounen as a manga. It's basically just something I imagine when bored and have since many years ago, frequently incorporates aspects and similar powers from anime I've watched. The power structure is like this in a nutshell. I say nutshell but... The main "thing" in the series is that there's a long history of people who ascended to godly status and gained the power to control certain aspects of the 20 galaxies that comprise the universe, even to the point where they can block galaxies off which in turn creates wars when they remove the barriers, such actions are used to essentially thin the herd of those who could ascend to being Gods. Despite being Gods the ones in control can't directly influence beings, if someone was becoming too powerful they couldn't wish them dead essentially. Then there are the four Ancient Gods of each energy that got defeated and pushed aside but remained powerful enough to create Hybrids comprised of all 4 energies of which there is 1 per galaxy, with the ultimate goal of one or more defeating the corrupt group of Gods. The Ancient Gods are unable to influence the universe in any other way, so they can't tell people about the Gods. Alongside the Hybrids there are "higher powers" among energy types that were also created, Arch Angel, Spirit Lord, Super Demon, Impure God. Someone who is all of these at once is pretty much the ultimate being. So basically there's a huge hidden war to take down the corrupt Gods but those Gods create galactic wars that end up killing or pitting Hybrids against each other, severely impacting the chances of their defeat. It's pretty silly but I think aspects of it could make a cool, over the top kind of series. It would be hella long but it would be cool if many mangaka were to take part and do their own part in the story. I can't draw for s*** so they'd have to. As for characters it'd be up to the writers, Hybrids are obviously important but not necessarily the main characters of each arc/galaxy. Many of them fall to the "so powerful they don't become skilled enough and get rekt by underdogs" cliché, which is obviously a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. Should you choose to use the concept I request 0.5% the revenue gained for the series Well I doubt anyone will read all that anyway probably my longest post ever, it was somewhat therapeutic explaining this huge thing in my mind even though nobody will care too much, odd

I have a story that mashed up ideas from Claymore, YYH, and DBZ. It's basically about a war in a fictitious world between "the Baron" and an organization that I never got around to naming. A lot of things were just created on the fly as I wrote, so the hierarchy of the organization is kind of a mess. There are titled ranks as well as a number placement dictating where a character is on the totem pole. A character can rank numerically from 1 to 100, strongest to weakest, just like Claymore (though I hid the top 10 because I wanted them to be special). The Protectors themselves possess elemental abilities, and wear uniforms with a designated color matching that element, though they also fight with weapons (another area I was having conflicts with). Red = fire, blue = water, green = plants, black = darkness (think Raven in Teen Titans), yellow = energy/chi (think DBZ), white = light (didn't have this one planned out), and I couldn't figure out what to do with pink and purple so I didn't get around to including them. Weapons range from daggers to scythes to throwing stars and beyond. I also had a little Power Rangers inclusion by giving a few of the very high-ranked and veteran warriors the shield from the Green Ranger's suit. There are demons (and Xenomorphs) and battles that are more akin to YYH fights due to their smaller scale and more technique-based sequences, and some of the bigger battles and more ridiculous power-ups are influenced by DBZ. I tried to stay away from DBZ's mentality of "this guy's twice as strong as you so he can tank everything you throw at him" and go more with what I saw in Claymore, which was their #1 still needing to put in effort to take down the others in the top 5. |

It's annoying how we can all think of cool stories that would probably make at least half decent series but we don't all have the talent or the motivation to spend years actually creating it Would be cool to just take the information out of your head and put it in to an aspiring mangaka's so they can create it and you can witness the epic(to you at least) story that you conceived. |
