I don't understand your point about gravity. What exactly are you trying to say? |

This is another topic, but yes there is. In terms of supporting evidence that wins this the popular theory, there are TONS of evidence to support these ideas. |

Yeah, life doesn't have a meaning. Nothing really has meaning if you think about it, the concept of something having 'meaning' is a human construct. So I guess in a way you could say that we ourselves determine the meaning of life, which is how I try to live it, according to my own meanings and values. An objective meaning there isn't I think. That would be pretty depressing, all of existence just has one purpose? And if all of existence is part of something bigger, then what would be meaning of that bigger thing be? It's the "every painting has a painter" fallacy that's used in religious debates. Oh boy... You can't even begin to comprehend how wrong you are. I've heard people claiming scientific theories have little evidence (which is already ridiculous), but none at all? Edited by Ginyu, Oct 6 2015, 03:35 PM.

There are some truths, but mostly false information. And i'm not saying "they" are all in on it, no. they are just repeating what they was taught. In Russia they was only able to go down 8 miles, yet they know what the core looks like. not only for here but other planets, like how many layers there is and how thick they are. |

You know, asking questions is good, that's step 1, but step 2 is googling them, step 3 is obtaining knowledge. http://www.popularmechanics.com/science/environment/a7749/how-do-we-know-whats-in-the-earths-core-pm-explains-9750875/ Step 4 is repeat. Keep asking questions, but don't forget to try to find an answer. |

I know that, most likely i am not going to change any minds. i post for people on the fence about science. and i want people to know that every thing was not a accident. |

It wasn't an accident. Saying it was an accident implies that it was never meant to happen. When there are hundreds of billions of different Galaxies out there, each holding possibly hundreds of billions of Solar Systems, the conditions for life are bound to be met on some planets. It's not an accident, it's simply by chance. |

But they say the bigbang came from nothing. that nothing blew up made material and self replicating cells. they know, they was there when the idea was made up. |

What's the alternative? Something existed in nothing and created everything? What created that thing? If a higher being exists and is an 'uncaused cause', then you can easily forego the idea of it and say that the Universe itself is an 'uncaused cause'. You can't have an infinite chain of cause and effect, so there has to be an uncaused cause at some point, no need for it to be any kind of God. |

Its a mystery, i wonder about that. God is alpha and omega. the beginning and the end. When i see the beautiful the land and how sophisticated everything is, i can't see it as a accident.

How about, start another topic for this in general? For what its worth mate, you're not the only one who thinks that way, but honestly (in my opinion) you just don't seem to understand the reason why things currently exist as they do, from the universe itself, down to the lands/tree's etc. As suggested higher up, google it, do some research and repeat. Many people think "oh crazy, this works a certain way...IT MUST BE A HIGHER POWER AT WORK", which in fairness might even make sense if Earth was the only planet.....which it isn't, and we already know of many other planets in the universe, which also in itself suggest that somewhere out-there......another planet has life, just like this one. Due to that mere thought alone, one can only assume that life is not special, that all life (plant or animal) is not by design but evolutionary changes in an organism to adapt to its surroundings, which keep on going and going until you , at the very least, reach our level of being. Again the same applies for all plant life and other animals as well. |
