In HiStory of Trunks, when Chi-Chi takes & looks back at a happy photo of Goku & her & little Gohan, back when Goku was alive & they were a happy family.

Also when she tells Gohan to come-back home & that she doesn't care about no artificial-humans.

Was so emotional. :'( :'( :'(

Thala na Gethu!

When Chibi Goku meets Grandpa Gohan & cries "jii-chan"

You can feel the pain & how much Son-kun missed his sole relation (at that point in da series)

Maybe its his seiyuu's magic, but it really strikes every emotional cord.

Yeah, but a lot of people know that & say that when they think of emotional moments. ^_^ ^_^ ^_^

Guess its Underrated for me then

I could list a ton of trivial, underrated moments, but that'll take too much time & space

I'd also add Bulma's brief flashback about how she met Son-kun at Mt. Paozu & how long their journey have been at Ep 64 of GT. Its such a small, yet emotional scene which makes me wonder how long I've been watchin the series & how far I've come to appreciate the characters...

The most underrated emotinal moments, imo, are the deaths of irrelevant characters

The Lord of the Dark

I always felt bad for Mr Satan when Boo stood up against his evil self and lost. The sheer irony of how he got defeated, by getting turned into chocolate. I remember at one point Mr Satan reminding himself of how much of a good friend Boo was, and the interaction between both characters was always charming to me.

When Bee got shot, I was just as mad as Boo and Mr Satan. And when Mr Satan got shot, I got even more mad. Just because Mr Satan and Boo had the most heart-warming friendship in the entire franchise.

It was also sort of charming to see that even though Boo had returned to his full-evil self, he still didn't want to kill Mr Satan because he had been the only friend he ever had.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Mr. Satan's near death... especially the way he took it. He was trying to fight the evil within him and his screaming at Mr. Satan to leave was heart-wrenching.

Krillin's deaths... Goku was sad.
