Crazy Awesome Legend

Personally I think he's too left wing for the British public to vote for but I'm interested in other people's opinions on him.

Tony Blair was Labour right?

Anyway, in a time like this, I think left wing is the way to go or something that has left wing majority + middle. They look to the future, aim to support those who cannot support themselves, are idealist and believe in equality.

Yeah, Blair was Labour. However, he brought it more to the centre with 'New Labour', while Corbyn's much more to the left.

Honestly, I don't see it. Britain hasn't seen a strong, viable left-wing party in almost two decades. Maybe another left-wing Labour leader will be Prime Minister after a decade or so, but I think it's going to take everyone a while to adjust to the shift.

There's been a left wing shift across a large part of Europe, the votes for left wing parties in the previous EU elections went up, as did the extreme right, with the centre and centre right losing ground. Even Labours vote went up and they weren't expected to make gains. Can Corbyn win over the nation? I think it's possible but only if Labour can pull themselves together, otherwise there will be an internal split and a new leader.

Why are people attracted by left wing politics? Because they often serve the interests of the common people, closing the gap between rich and poor. Cuts happen within left wing parties, they just aren't as hard or fast, which isn't a bad thing, most countries run on debt, so long as it's managed, then there won't be a problem, the UK has very little chance of defaulting on loans unless something catastrophic happens, or there's a total moron in power (like UKIP).
