What's your opinion on the allegations made in Lord Ashcroft's unofficial autobiography? Is there any truth to these claims? Does it even matter at this point? Regardless of whether these claims are true or not, I think they're going to stick with Cameron through the rest of his political life.

Isn't it a biography since it was written by someone else? Eitherway, some people like reading this kind of gossip, pretty sure the claims are most likely true, will it do any lasting damage? Probably not, Cameron has stated this was going to be his last term anyway, unless something more serious comes out. He took drugs and was part of several unsavoury groups, we already knew this, I think the part most people were a bit shocked about was that he stuck his manhood in a dead pigs head, it's gross and weird but I don't think it's career breaking.

Fair points, but I think that the media's reaction to this is rather telling. If it had been Corbyn who'd been accused of this, there'd be an outrage. There'd be calls to remove him and it'd be something they'd use at every opportunity. However, when it's Cameron, it's something to laugh about and something nobody should really take seriously.

Then there's the fact that Nick Clegg stated that Cameron used him as an excuse for not giving Ashcroft a Government job, as well as the fact that Cameron apparently knew about Ashcroft's non-dom status long before he said that he did.

That's because not only is Corbyn a Labour member but also a socialist, a large majority of the media doesn't like either of those. The media is supported by people who have certain political views that do not line up with Labour or socialism.

Keyboard Warriors, Everywhere.

Politics is always full of drama and stories. I honestly wouldn't care if they found out david cameron used to be a drug dealing pimp, who cares as long as he still doesn't do it. At least the tories don't have some crazy prehistoric activist as their leader who is KNOWN to be doing unsavoury things. Just probably a labour ploy, if it's in the mirror then yeah, labour ploy.

Keyboard Warrior

1. A Person who, being unable to express his anger through physical violence (owning to their physical weakness, lack of bravery and/or conviction in real life), instead manifests said emotions through the text-based medium of the internet, usually in the form of aggressive writing that the Keyboard Warrior would not (for reasons previously mentioned) be able to give form to in real life.

2. Keyboard Warriors are generally identified by unneccessary rage in their written communications, and are regarded as 'losers' by other virtual identities on the internet.

Interesting theory, but no, it was the Daily Mail who published it and they endorsed the Conservatives last time round.

But good try, I'll give you a C-

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

This only matters if Cameron has explicitly denied these types of activities. If he's never denied them, or isn't currently denying them, then it doesn't matter. People do crazy, regrettable s*** when they're teenagers/young adults and world leaders are no different.

It also doesn't matter if they're false allegations, obviously.

What is with the snarcy /sarcy attitudes on this forum?

But yeah, guess not if it was the mail, still though, I don't follow what newspapers say, and couldn't care less if what the said was true.
