He can either stay in action and get better through conquest and training and end up beating Beerus(cell jrs make him ssgod or friezas cells make him golden etc.) or he slacks and gets fodderized. Maybe Whis makes him god of destruction. Another possibility is cell reviving everybody from boredom

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	Everything is annihilated, most likely. Trunks actually wanted to delve into the reasoning behind Cell's actions now that he was perfect, and he gave a simple response of wanting to enjoy himself through seeing the terror on people's faces. He's the textbook example of a Grade A psychopath who delights in watching others suffer. Beerus may be apathetic, but I don't believe he actively goes out of his way to torture others. When he kills, it seems to be out necessity for the preservation of the natural order. The only ones who could stop him are Buu, Beerus, and Whis. There's no guarantee that Buu would get released, and even if he did, he's not much better when you consider how dangerous of a threat he was to the universe many years ago. The best possible hope for existence would be for Beerus and Whis to challenge and then kill Cell once they realise how much of an affront he is to the natural order.

There's probably even stronger people in the Universe than Cell. Beerus might be the strongest (barring Whis), but there's so much of the Universe not explored, so I think he'd meet his doom elsewhere.

If you count dragonball GT, then he would get killed by Legdic or Rildo. But like you said probably also by other 'unknown' fighters.

Cell is his own being and, while he has the DNA and techniques of other fighters, his potential is his own. Using that logic, his potential would be hindered by the cells of the humans.

Favourite Manga Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Bleach	Cell is overrated man, if his potential was that big why bother absorbing artificial humans and gaining miniscule power increases compared to what he's "allowed" with the cells of 3 dominant beings who have proof of untapped potential that transcends even Vegito's power domain? Anyway, if Super's to be taken into account too then the leader guy who has that battle mode might be strong enough to take him. Or if Babidi gets to him first, then he'll become his servant. If not by those two, then Birusu would definitely kill him.

He would get killed if he tried to fight someone like Beerus, and if we take GT into account Rilldo could most likely kill Cell too.
