Noah summoned Giant Rex.
Spinosaurus comes out.

For some reason I fell off my chair and laughed my head off when this happens.
Probably because I was expecting the T.Rex and not the Spino, I dunno, I laugh at weird things sometimes.
Yeahhhh

The dinosaur type and insect type are extremely loose in Yugioh. Godzilla, for instance, is a dinosaur in Yugioh

"Civilizations may rise and fall, but the human spirit is eternal."

Dang, Ishizu. Best line evar.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

When was that? When Marik is fighting for control?

Ishizu was a unique duelist IMO. Like Marik and Odion, I think she was somewhat of a wasted character. After the Battle City arc, we never really got to see the Ishtars again. We didn't even get to see Marik dueling. It would've been cool to have him (or even all three) in the Grand Championship, with a true duel between him and Yugi.

While Yugi and Malik were shuffling their cards and when she's talking to Kaiba.

Edit: Malik getting punched is probably the second funniest thing in this anime besides this face.

Seriously, this cracked me up SO much.

Edit 2: Interesting, a monster that can shapeshift into the opponent he faces. Is he called Ditto aswell?

Ah, you're near the end of the Battle City arc. Next up is the Orichalcos arc, and man is that one a doozy

That's where I stopped watching. Dartz' voice bothered me in the Orichalcos arc.

I'm cool with monsters going all kaiju and wrecking everything in the world, but this Orichalcos crap is weird.

What do you mean? It is different from a lot of the other arcs in tone and magic, yeah

It's weird how they jumped from Malik being the biggest threat to this.

A lot of things are happening and for no reason apparently. I'm guessing I'll have to wait like 12 episodes until they explain it.

Edit 1: Lol, Gorlag is called Balrog in the Japanese version, that's fun, he actually looks like one!

Edit 2: So, we went from the "God trio" to the "Dragon trio" as subtitutes. Huh. Also, a fun detail I barely notice is the fact that BEWD is a Dragon-Type monster yet not a Fire-Type one. Totally reminds me of Charizard being a Fire-Type Pokemon yet not a Dragon-Type one. How ironic, both are the poster dragons of the franchise.

So, Mai's evil now, eh? And for no other reason aside from feeling inferior to Yugi and the other duelists. I get the part with Malik, but I don't get how she can still doubt on her friends. She's been there since the very beginning, why would she act this way? Is she being manipulated by someone, like Malik did with the Ghouls?

She's not being manipulated. She's just a victim of some of the worst writing in the series. Seriously, she turns on the gang out of nowhere and it made me hate her after coming to respect her a bit in Battle City. But at least you're watching the Japanese version, so you don't have to suffer from the terrible voice actor change that the English dub did. My god, horrible, horrible...
