You can't not watch Yugioh dubbed, the english VA's are awesome, especially Yugi and Kaiba's voice.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

I do enjoy the Japanese dub even if I miss certain English voices and the badass soundtrack.

Japanese dub pros:

- Explains card effects much better. Sometimes the 4kids dub completely omits explanations.
- Quite a bit of dialogue is changed that can alter a scene. For instance, in the 4kids dub, Kaiba outright admits to Yugi being the true King of Games after he defeats the 3 Gods, but in the original version he compliments the strategy used to do it and then says (more or less) that he's rooting for Yugi to win.
- No censorship like the 4kids dub. You see it all like it was meant to be seen.

Japanese Dub Cons
-The soundtrack isn't as good and often doesn't fit(triumphant music as Yami tortures Weevil)
-Some of the voices are bad(dear lord Bakura never hits puberty in the subs)
-Bakura's voice gets two slots because it's horrible

Bakura's voice is not that bad. I've heard worse.
But are you saying that the english soundtrack is just better or that the japanese ost is not good at all?

Because I honestly love some of these tracks.

Especially that last one. GOD, it feels so good when that tune plays and the main character is just kicking a***.

I like "Approaching" and "Passionate Duelist" quite a lot, though I prefer a lot of the English songs.

Dub

Sub

I personally feel a lot of the more unique themes are better in English. Not so much the general soundtrack, but the character themes of each individual character or object. It seems like they fit more closely with the situation.

For instance, when Yami is returning to his dark side and basically overkilling someone, in the dub, there's this darkish track. In the sub, we've got the Fang of Critias playing.

It's getting kinda boring with the "Noah Saga".

Just saying.

Also, Pyrus. About that BEWD speed feat. In the subbed version I watched the satellite was 36,000 km above the ground and it took BEWD at least 25 seconds to reach it. That's 5,184,000 km/h or 3,221,188.26 mph.

That's still incredibly fast. Re-entry speeds at the very least, though still far less than light.

And yeah, the Noah saga can drag quite a bit between the major battles. I actually didn't like it the first time I saw it because it interrupted the awesome Battle City tournament, and seemed to go on forever. Nowadays I like the detour, though I do fast-forward through a couple of duels and filler episodes to get to the good ones. The animation is superb, though.

Not saying BEUD wasn't fast, just giving you my calcs since you had doubts due to the speed feat coming from the dub and not the sub.

But yeah, the Noah saga is dragging way too much. I want to see Yugi and Kaiba getting their freaking epic final match, goddamnit, not the Big 5 sucking as much as they did in every single other episode they appeared in. I liked the one who used Psycho Shocker, though, and the one who used Nightmare Penguin was pretty fun aswell. I have to say, I actually felt really bad for them when Noah straight up deleted them from existence. Especially when he tricked them in such way.

Noah is so far the least imposing villain, excluding the minor ones, as much as the show tries to make him interesting because he was this big and important guy's son.
I REALLY miss Pegasus.
And Malik, who's been left out the picture despite being the show's biggest threat, as far as I know.

I always thought it was weird leaving Marik out of the Noah saga. It'd be odd having two villains, but I wanted to see Marik duel the Big 5.

Don't worry, the Noah saga will be over soon enough and the bad filler arc stops there. The next filler arc is actually really good, partially because it isn't interrupting another arc.

Noah summoned Giant Rex.
Spinosaurus comes out.

For some reason I fell off my chair and laughed my head off when this happens.
Probably because I was expecting the T.Rex and not the Spino, I dunno, I laugh at weird things sometimes.
